You know, there's a level of admiration I have for Rick that's shared by countless others around the world. The music he creates is just so perfectly "human" in that he's able to translate so many varying emotions into unique masterpieces. From spontaneous to calm, happy to sad, angry to laid back, insane to clear-minded, he truly is a musical visionary.

This is one of his best songs. It's him doing what he does best: combining beautiful melodies and pulsating, slamming beats.

This is one of the first Aphex Twin tracks I heard, and it's changed my life completely - not just my interest in music, but my outlook on the world and my approach to art. To name on of Richard's own tracks, start as you mean to go on - I'm still listening to his stuff now.

Yeah, i do it too. But here in Brazil, the appearance of the environment don't change huge with the times. Not green to white and grey. Just clearly cloud breezes disappears in the sky, and the dry aspect of the nature change to turn on cold. It does not snow. But i think this tiny change can alter the sentimental perception of songs, or our desire to listen some fresh/cold that fit with syntheses of temperature or colors.

Richard D. James - a true modern composer and an absolute pioneer of British electronic music. I've listened to everything he's ever produced and I never seem to get tired of it. Yes, there are favourite tunes but he's never produced an album or release that isn't worth listening to in full, there's a depth in every record that can turn even the most ardent disbeliever in electronic music into a fan.
