I tried the game (thanks to you) and... Yeah, the cat that lost his mate at 20 moons old to a dog and thought about it every day ("remember lost loved ones", "Forgot *mate's name* is dead", "share tongue with *mate's name*, etc) until his death at 201 moons hit hard. He also outlived all of the leaders and is the only cat with "great teacher" instead of "strong connection to starclan"

Theory for the Hopepaw event (spoilers): Maybe Patchthistle was sick and believed herself to be dying, and confessed to Hopepaw. Hopepaw then gave her deathberries because he knew that Patchthistle wasn’t really that sick and could eventually kill again.

I didn't get around to posting my theory in the comments of last episode, but I can't believe my thought was correct! I had a theory that Patchthistle was causing a bunch of trouble(like we see with her making fun of other cats during patrols). She probably learned that she could get away with things and decided to go bigger. I thought that maybe she had a rivalry with Voleshade. She was the first rogue to join the clan, after all and was probably given a bit of attention which could have already given her a mark in Patchthistle's mind. I think that Voleshade knows more about the prophecy then anyone and the only reason she is so suspicious at times is bc she's trying to hide what she knows(perhaps to insure that the prophecy is fulfilled). That is why I think Blossomsight is actually the kit from the prophecy. Whether Patchthistle knows that or not, she's still jealous of both Voleshade and Blossomsight. This along with her feeling like she can get away with anything probably gave her the idea to murder Smokespots since Voleshade and Blossomsight were technically their family(mate and adopted kit). I also feel like perhaps Hopepaw found out a while a while before this and was only hated by other Clan members bc he kept trying to convince them of Patchthistle's wrong doings. I also thought Voleshade would find out and seek revenge, but ig she can't really do it if Patchthistle is taken out before she can get to her. P.S.: I'm writing this before I finish the video bc I didn't want to forget to comment again so I might add on more later)

Spoilers My theory is Hopepaw killed Patchthistle because the clan was starting to suspect hopepaw’s father (Icefoot). And I think Icefoot killed Smokespots out of jealousy for Voleshade. Also I think Blossomsight is the REAL ginger prophecy cat

Spoilers for the Hopepaw event: I definitely think that Patchthistle did not kill Smokespots. It’s just not in their vibe-I don’t anticipate them to have ever killed anyone. I think they value their deputy role too much to have threatened it by killing. I don’t have any other theories as of right now, but I just highly doubt Patchthistle did that. Edit: Just remembered how everyone treated Hopepaw before their apprenticeship. I wonder if Voleshade managed to manipulate Hopepaw (kit at the time) into believing that Patchthistle was the killer, under the guise of “I’m the only one you can trust, so I’m going to tell you this important thing I saw, and nobody trusts me except you, which is why I’m telling you”. Thus Hopepaw decided to kill Patchthistle as a result. The reason that everyone was treating Hopepaw poorly was because they suspected Hopepaw was being manipulated.

When I tried the random generator it keep saying that that lizardbush was the most likely the culprit of the murder. Rumours began to spread about lizardbush. Then lizardbush go angry at cats bring it up. After that he was convince to let it go, when suddenly it was brought up again by mudwing, who presented new information about lizardbush being the killer. After that a trial was held, in which lizardbush began questioning the other cats about the murder and at one point blamed himself but was he actually the killer. After that lizardbush went insane and began talking to himself, which caused the other cats to start blaming themselves. But this was his plain all along to cause a rift of distrust in the clan. But his plain is eventually found out by Voleshade who kills lizardbush out of revenge, but was it already too late.

I have a theory: At the end of episode #5, Hopepaw was “learning” about Smokespots, and I think Voleshade, who had been trying to manipulate her daughter, (Blossomsight), to “fit into the ginger cat prophecy”, had manipulated Hopepaw into something along the lines of “Patchthistle murdered Smokespots” in order to kill off the last ginger cat of the prophecy so Blossomsight could fit into the Patchthistle’s place, and then Voleshade could control Blossomsight in that sake. She took advantage of Hopepaw for his childhood, where he was lots quieter then his litter mates. I also think Rowankit and Patchkit will be more important, from Patchkit being a recantation of Patchthistle, being a shade of ginger and all, and the retired medicine cat having dreams about Rowankit and Rowankit taking Hopebee’s place as medicine cat.

I 100% stand behind the other theories that Voleshade is manipulating both Blossomsight and Hopepaw in the Smokespots and Patchthistle conundrum. Can't wait to see where this continues to go!

if this was made into a book series, maybe Willowtoe could be the main charcter, and here are my reasons why: 1) she's the forbidden kit of the deputy, Petalheart, and the medicine cat, Waterpounce 2) she's a warrior but has a strong connection to StarClan, simalier to Firestar 3) she seems to doubt her hunting skills on patrols, which could lead to interesting development with the other cats 4) voleshade acussed her of murder

Not about Hopepaw but heres 2 small theory of mine. (Rownkit & Frogpaw) Waterpounce had a dream about Rowankit… maybe starclan foretold waterpounce that a new medicine apprentice must be chosen and it must be Rowankit. Maybe Rowankit has a special gift from Starclan. (There are so many ideas of what that could be) Also Frogpaw… she joined into the clan and was immediately met with her friend being killed. Maybe frogpaw will grow and strive to either end the cycle of bloodshed (not wanting other to feel the pain she did) or maybe continue the cycle (wanting revenge for her first friend in her new home.)

Idea : Hope paw wanted to be special in a way as a kit, even if it meant to not be a warrior... so she wanted to be a warrior but forced herself to turn to medicine cat training and everything, so she might be spying on warrior apprentices training. Since she was being tripped over as a kit. Also since hope paw murdered patch thistle that's how I think she spies on warrior training. Anyway, since she was tripped over as a kit, ignored, even. She wanted to be special, a good cat- turn the wrongs into rights! But... in the end... everyone fails in someway. Or they don't reach what they want to be. That's my theory \ idea! I hope this is somewhat important.

So Patchthistle killed Smokespots when she found out her, Voleshade, and Icefoot's plan. Hopebee found out about the killing, not knowing about the trio's evil plan to devide the Clan and killed Patchthistle, then Lizardbush found out Hopebee had killed his friend and so he killed him. If you think about it, Vole and Ice's plans are working, by having a cycle of murder in the Clan they are driving the cats apart.

My theory about what happened to Smokespots... So Voleshade entered the clan and Smokespots took a liking to her quickly. Smokespots asked her to be their mate and she accepted but didn't really care for them and was doing it to mess with them for some fun. Smokespots found out and the relationship became toxic very quickly, and Voleshade became quite abusive. In the end Voleshade ended up spending more time with Patchthistle to get away from Smokespots and fell in love with Patchthistle. However, there was Willowtoe and so Voleshade's manipulative side tried to get between them for her own greed of having a good relationship, almost ruining Patchthistle and Willowtoe's. In the end, Patchthistle found out about everything because Voleshade confessed to them and got mad so killed Smokespots. Voleshade kept quiet even though she figured it out, because she was glad to be free of them and in an obsessive state with Patchthistle at the time and still is. When Patchthistle died, she was enraged and wanted revenge. She still doesn't know who did it now, but may take it out on Blossomsight or whoever else she can get her paws on...

Idea : pale claw is a prophecy cat! That might be what acorn paw saw in a vision (we can say it was hope paw since they are a medicine cat) idea for prophecy : in times of darkness, there will be a flicker of a pale light to guide the way, and the claws of the sharpest will save the wyverns that roam the sky. And everyone thinks claws of the sharpest claws means that a huge battle must happen so everyone fights and starclan comes down from cat heaven and is like, "Dude. Stop." So everyone stops fighting and they figure out sometime soon that pale claws is the prophecy cat so like blah blah blah pale claws saves wyvern clan because the clans try to murder all of them so like yeah. I'm too lazy to do more ciao.

Just a Theory: (this is what I thought before watching the episode, it's just my opinion) I thought Icefoot had a huge crush on Voleshade, Voleshade and Smokespots' relationship was getting toxic. One night Voleshade and Smokespots had an argument and Voleshade was really mad at smokespots. Icefoot saw the whole argument and decided to teach a lesson to Smokespots by attacking him, and accidentally killed him. i haven’t watched the next episode yet i’m behind lol and i haven’t finished this one but here are my thoughts so far(Spoiler for HopePaw event) HopePaw got a dream from Starclan saying a ginger cat was the murderer of SmokeSpots. They assumed it was PatchThistle, but it was actually BlossomSight. BlossomSight did sort of kill SmokeSpots out of their own will, VoleShade just made BlossomSight think that SmokeSpots did something horrible. Maybe she told BlossomSight that SmokeSpots murdered her parents? That could also be the truth, or VoleShade could have been their killer. I don’t really have too clear of a guess, but that was just what i was thinking.

I have a theory as to why Patchthistle did it. Weren’t Voleshade and Patchthistle friends in ealier episodes? Maybe Patchthistle was jealous of Smokespots because Voleshade was spending more time with her (because Vole and smoke were mates). Patchthistle was upset at this and didn’t trust Smokespots so she killed them. Idk just a thought.

I found that sometimes artists will follow tips given by other artists to help them improve their style I think that's why it might LOOK traced but not actually BE traced. And I'm not saying tracing isn't a thing because it is I'm saying that sometimes even artists will follow tips to help themselves improve their style 😉

[spoilers!] i think when voleshade first joined, literally nobody trusted her, but then she brought in blossomkit, a ginger kit. with the prophecy going on, and so little known about it, i think copperstar would start to place more trust into voleshade. seeing this, patchthistle would begin to trust voleshade. then everyone else would because.. if the leader and deputy trust her, she couldn't possibly be bad.. right? meanwhile, voleshade is studying patchthistle's habits and routine, building a plan around it. while she does that, she notices how hopepaw has been pushed away by his clanmates, and uses the apprentice's loneliness against him, thus manipulating him. she also manipulates blossomsight into believing that patchthistle is not the prophecy cat, but she makes it clear to blossomsight not to tell anyone this information. at this point, hopepaw and blossomsight believe that voleshade is the only one they can trust. voleshade eventually lies to hopepaw, saying that she saw patchthistle kill smokespots, and that she doesn't believe patchthistle to be the prophecy cat because she always got a "eerie feeling" from the deputy. hopepaw, being heavily manipulated at this point, agrees. he "goes to collect herbs", and returns to camp shortly after, telling patchthistle he saw a fox. patchthistle is about to prepare a patrol when hopepaw says that he doesn't want any other cats to go because of the recent murder, and he doesn't want to add more stress to anyone. patchthistle agrees, and hopepaw leads her out. he distances himself from her on purpose, fakes the scent of a fox, and kills her, believing that he was taking justice into his own paws. edit 1: ngl i think voleshade's next plan is gonna go like this.. the idea would be to kill paleclaw, take her place as deputy, kill copperstar, take her place as leader and appoint blossomsight as the deputy, kill waterpounce so rowankit is the only future medicine cat, kill driftfeather, kill acornspots and pricklestorm OR manipulate them, and have icefoot be a minion i guess. edit 2: acornspots definitely knows what's up, maybe not the full details, but patchthistle absolutely told him that she didn't kill smokespots, and that hopepaw killed her. edit 3: sorry for so many edits, i'm editing as i'm watching and my brain is wild. pricklestorm doesn't want anything to do with this so that's why she hates getting compared to smokespots, voleshade is setting up "accidents" (ex. arranging rocks near water sources in a way so that if a cat steps wrong, they get stuck and possibly drown? or trip and hit their head on a rock idk) to try and kill her. paleclaw's just vibing tbh. edit 4: i think patchkit is a reincarnation of patchthistle, and petalstrike is the reincarnation of petalheart. also, i'm gonna edit previous statements because of the lizardbush murdering hopebee thing.

I think sky moon hocked out with some females and some might be from wyvern clan and some might be from other clans loners or even kitty pets and when the kits were born the mothers dropped then off with sky moon because they maybe didn’t,t know that he was only 13 moons old or maybe the mothers dropped them off because they had a mate and had kits with another cat and sky moon had no mate so the kits didn’t,t know who there mother was and wyvern clan wooden,t be suspicous

Theory for the murders: Voleshade brought Blossomsight into the clan after hearing about the ginger cat prophecy. She took this as an opportunity to seize power over WyvernClan. Though she need ed supporters. Smokespots, being relatively new to the clan at the time, was convinced (or even forced) to call herself Voleshade's mate to help convince the other cats that Blossomshade is indeed the prophecy cat. One night, Voleshade and Smokespots are arguing out in the forest about this whole scheme, and Smokespots just can't take it anymore and doesn't want to force a prophecy on Blossomsight. Smokespots doesn't agree with Voleshade's plan either. Patchthistle happened to be out hunting and overheard the whole conversation. Patchthistle bonded temporary with Blossomsight about both being ginger and potential prophecy cats, so patchthistle was furious that Voleshade would force her adopted kit into the role. When Voleshade spots patchthistle, he attacks her and pins her down. Seizing the opportunity for power, Voleshade gives smokespots a dilemma: kill patchthistle, or Voleshade would kill both of them. Smokespots reluctantly fights, but patchthistle kills her by accident out of self defence. Voleshade tells patchthistle that if she tells anyone, she'll kill patchthistle next. Voleshade thought she could become deputy and wanted patchthistle dead, but didn't want her paws dirty Incase someone found out. Later, after Voleshade stalked patchthistle for a week or so to make sure she didn't tell anyone, Voleshade seized the opportunity, Hopepaw. Since Hopepaw was looked down on by the whole clan, he could kill patchthistle for Voleshade, and Voleshade might become deputy. Also since smoke and vole were never actually mates, it would make since how vole moved on so quickly. But back to the point. Hopepaw saw this as a moment to prove himself, so he killed patchthistle. And then instantly realized the mistake he made. He kept it a secret from the rest of his clan, and refused to support Voleshade. Voleshade was disappointed that she didn't become deputy after this, but again needed to keep her paws clean Incase someone found out. Which lizardbush did, many moons later. Hints were dropped to frogpaw, the new loner apprentice. Frogpaw figured it out by listening to Hopebee mumble in the medicine den, and became curious and started eavesdrop. That would explain why she was behaving suspiciously. At one point, frogpaw let it slip to lizardbush while they were sharing prey. Lizardbush took action and killed Hopebee. Voleshade still wasn't able to get a chance to take any more power, and the story it left as is. Sorry that was so long, it's just my take on the theory

Unrelated to the events of this episode, but I'm headcanoning Icefoot as being a trans man. I dunno. It feels right for him. Plus, everyone keeps misgendering him in the comments. Icefoot is a he! Edit: Also I think Stagwind is aro-spec. He never took a mate to my memory, but had a bunch of kits, so it's plausible.
