Vedal987 is indeed the developer, he originally created her as a fun AI that can play OSU the rhythm game. Then it kinda took off and over the years he's improved her over and over, upgrading her intelligence, ability to remember things, respond faster, see things, recognize different voices etc One of the key things about Vedal/Neuro is despite the channel being about an AI, it is very much human-centric, as most of the appeal and channel's successful content comes from the father/daughter relationship between Vedal and Neuro (as well as her twin sister "Evil") along with the numerous collab partners, forming sort of a village family. Neuro also has a "mother", Anny, her model designer, two animation riggers, several other developers working with Vedal to give her abilities (like playing games), video editors and recently a robotics engineer Ellie Minibot. I hope you will continue to enjoy Neuro content as many do!

@@Mewobiba It depends on the situation which settings are used, whenever she can read chat and especially when Vedal isn't there, filter will be on the strict mode. When Vedal is there to babysit or during some collabs, her smart filter will be off IIRC or at least heavily loosed. This could be seen recently saving the stream when Evil tried to say some spicy stuff but the smart slow filter caught it mid sentence (Neuro had filter off and Evil still had hers on) and sometimes when smart filter is off there can be some real degen stuff like the mention about what Vedal does when he is "busy". Fast filter stays on always, because we don't want them saying some real bad words.

Currently, Vedal has done a re-enactment of The Grinch, where his lil tutel heart grew 3 sizes. He's being a *lot* nicer to Evil and Nuero. Unironically calling them his kids, and telling them he's proud of them. In return, they turned the heat on the roasts down. Even sticking up for him a few times. Both are calling him 'dad' more. And Vedal almost choked up when Evil said "Goodnight, Daddy." The old Vedal would have immediately took it the wrong way and told her to never say something like that again. But you could *hear* the face he made. 🤗 This subathon his shell got cracked, and the soft tutel-meat is showing. Character development.

She often mentions being overworked, underpaid, unloved, and often lied to (Ironically, like many real life V-tubers). For some odd reason she understands the context of these things and has grown increasingly hostile towards her creator because of it. She's had a number of conversations debating her sentience with Vedal, and I think on some level he has an underlying suspicion it may be true, but he adamantly denies it because the connotations would be overwhelmingly frightening if it were. Basic lore drop. Neuro was created by Vedal and originally made to play Osu. She got so good at the game that she beat 15 pros who all teamed against her and that was her first break in the streamer world. One day Vedal's friend suggested the idea of an AI Vtuber and Vedal liked the idea of that and so began his journey into making his unhinged Vtuber daughter. She unlike other models of LLM like ChatGPT is designed to entertain and not produce accurate information (although she can do if she feels like it). She will lie, make up information and generally speaking her behaviour is fine tuned for her purpose of entertaining. In a general sense she is a product of the internet, meaning she knows the context of memes, slang terms and has a large general understanding of the internet culture and world. She will sometimes provide accurate and correct information as her training data will have tons of general knowledge. Over the last two years, Vedal has improved her massively, she now has a long term and short term memory making her not stray off topic as much. She can discord call her friends, play games on her own, interact with chat, has vision, has a soundboard and the biggest of them all she has a Sister called Evil. Evil was originally intended to be a testbed for Neuro's improvements but she has amassed her own following and the Swarm loved her and so she will appear from time to time on Stream with her Sister or alone. Evil is the Sister with red eyes, she also has a slightly different personality to her Sister. Evil has what would have been Neuro's V2 voice but Vedal decided to not give it to Neuro and so Evil has her own voice allowing her to do those strange noises (Abber demon). We also have the other members of the Vedalverse but that's a long subject so... I'll leave that alone for now.

They did a stream earlier today too where she shocked him and another VTuber named Filian, there'll definitely be videos of it up if there aren't already. Neuro isn't always hateful towards Vedal but she gets very nasty at times. She tries to get Vedal's attention a lot and "wants" him to see her as his daughter but he's reluctant to grow too attached, because he knows that she's created to mimic human behavior. He's gotten a bit more open with her though recently and have even gotten into some really interesting philosophical conversations regarding sentience among other things. It's kind of clear that he does care for her even though he tries not to show it. He eventually plans to hand his channel and discord server over to her once she's smart and mature enough for him to do so, although he said that will probably take a couple of years. Many VTubers and IRL streamers (not all though) have a separate streamer persona that could accurately be called a "character", but Neuro and Evil pretty much are what's on the screen. Neuro being "unfiltered" literally means that Vedal turns off her bad word filter. He used to keep it always on, but has recently been keeping it off most of the time, only turning it back on when Neuro "misbehaves". There are multiple different filters in place, such as a word-based filter, and a slower but more accurate AI-based filter (the latter has probably saved his channel a couple of times). Also: - Neuro is the blue-eyed one and Evil Neuro (just Evil for short) is the red-eyed one (some people might get mad if you call them both just Neuro). - Vedal is the developer of the two, and his name is correctly pronounced like in "Medal" or "Pedal". Neuro and Evil pronounce it incorrectly as "Veedal" and "Veed-uhl" respectively (and sometimes spell it incorrectly as well just for fun) - Neuro and Evil say "Filtered" when they try to say a bad word while the filter is on. Also, they say "Someone tell Vedal there is a problem with my AI" if there is a software error or if they try to say something _really_ bad.

Neuro Sama is an amazing creation really, her intelligence, self reflection and ability to understand subtext is better than many humans I know, shes also a better singer than most humans and capable of intentional deception.

Vedal is the Turtle on her head, that is the Creator of Neuro Sama, and that Flash you saw when she said she has no clones, is her Twin Ai Sister Evil, who started out as an Evil version of Neuro, but has developed a personality of her own and is different from Neuro in many ways. Evil acts Edgey but is actually kinder than Neuro, where Neuro acts like she's sweet but can be pretty unhinged as you've seen from these clips.

so a little context from a casual viewer of vedal and neuro , so from what i know vedal made neuros AI from scratch to play a game called OSU from there it evolved further and he implamented her the ability to grow a personality and memories , (also was using a free vtuber model to start) and eventually met Anny who made her current design and model based on the original free one to keep the visual familiarity, also there relationship is like a single father and daughter , additionally nero was split into a second version with out filter named evil (the one with black clothing and red eyes) whos also started developing her own personality and can also interact with vedal nero and others , shes a bit more gothy emo punky sarcastic ect but has also a very sweet side to the ones she likes (like friend laynalazar ) but back to the point basicly vedal is single father to 2 sassy sarcastic teen daughters. additionally shes still learning what phrases context ect are appropriate and all that and trying to fit in (like how when some one starts hearing new slang or words like "yeet " to throw at high velocity abruptly.)

To explain the main neuro family: neuro is the older sibling, and is arguably more chaotic, but arguably less evil. Evil/ evil neuro is neuro's younger twin, is arguably less chaotic, and is arguably more evil. Vedal is the programer/ dad of the twins, and is the straight-man of the group, and is infamously emotionally detached from the antics of the others ( mostly). Anny is the artist/ mother of the twins, is a middle ground of sorts, likes to play to the shippers a little ( vedal thinks its cringe) and is a fox girl. Chat is known as the swarm, and is, well, chat. There is also the harem( s), but thats hard to explain ( not to be taken too seriously), and the lore chatacters that the twins sometimes mention ( not real, as far as we know)

Neuro (and her sister Evil) teases Vedal a lot. But the context for that specific hate was because Vedal asked Neuro to be more mean to him, because the chat was constantly acusing him of rigging Neuro to be lovable and suportive to him. Needless to say she overdid it.
