They nerfed crit a lot which means that most adc's get dominated by any other class in the bot lane. Since adc's aren't in the bot lane, the void is being filled by a whirlpool of champs. Since adc's have pretty much always been a thing, people don't have anything to revert back to and so the meta is taking a long time to stabilize.
