Can we use nitrogen filling for preservation in API 650 Tanks?

Nitrogen is used to preserve pressure vessels because of their high manufacturing cost and lack of internal painting. Mostly storage tanks are internelly painted except some products like diecel.

Bro, You will have to calculate the length of of the welds x cross section area x density= total weight of the welds. I usually use to purchase 30% more welding rod. In my experience, this method is 90% aqurate .
