I feel like they're not very experienced jazz band players and the conductor is not helping. As singular players, you can hear that they are mostly very good but it's the timing and composition of the band which is suffering and you can see the conductor trying to be expressive when she really needs to be trying to keep them together. It doesn't help the the mixing is terrible either.
