2013 STi Custom Quad Tip (4") Straight Pipe 3" Exhaust

Another custom APMTuned Quad Tip installed on a 2013 STi.
In this case, the 3" Straight Pipe system (4" tips) combined with the cat-less downpipe makes it a pretty effective alarm clock for the neighbors.

I will never understand it brother. I would never give up a stock quad for a single with nicer sound. The quad takes priority!

Even with a high flow cat on it, it still loud. Mines set up like this, with a aftermarket high flow cat. It’s loud. 💥💥💥

Why does that sound twice as loud as any other straight piped subi

cause its home made and doesnt have engineers to design some of the frequencies out.

This sounds way more tame than other straight piped STI's. If it's a full straight pipe with the supposed "4 inch" pipes it should be stupid loud.

How reliable are these newr sti? I know the older subaru had head gasket problems.

I'm pretty sure the newer ones have better gaskets that don't fail easily so they are pretty good

New ones are perfectly fine if you don’t neglect them. Keep up on maintenance and invest in proper supporting mods.
