راحت فتح علی خان صاحب آپ نے اس اعلٰی کلام کا حق خوب اچھی طرح ادا کیا ھے یہ قوالی لازوال ھو گئ ھے۔اللہ نے کلام اقبال کے ذریعے یہ پیغام اس قوم کے ذمہ داروں کو بہت تسلی سے اپ کی خوبصورت آواز میں پہنچا دیا ھے۔یہ حجت بھی پوری ہو گئی ھے۔

I am sitting and listening this inspirational work of Allama Iqbal, far away in Iqaluit, Nunavut, Canada surrounded by Hudson Bay above which is Arctic ocean. Each word enthuses and passes a chill across the spine on understanding it's meaning. My supervisor late Prof J. S. Rao as the Chair of the VI IFToMM World Congress in Dec 1983, held at IIT Delhi made a profound remark before the start of the Indian Classical Vocal concert in its Seminar Hall, followed by instrumental music program for the audience from 35 countries attending the Congress. He said, "When one listens to a Western Music composition, it is the feet of the audience listening that starts moving with the rhythm. But when one listens to Indan Ragas, and vocal performance based on them, then it is the head and neck that starts swinging of the listeners"! Hats off to.my supervisor that gets confirmed when the head of the audience listening this performance start swinging automatically. No wonder at the "Khanaqas" of the Sufis such as Bulleh Shah, Waris Shah, Nizamuddin, Moinuddin etc, or while listening to Meera, Surdas, bhajans based on classic ragas the audience used to loose their self in the singing performed in front of them.The only and essential word comes on my lips is SUBHAN ALLAH for Allama as well as the group singing his Nazm!
