I've played uncountable ocd/autism simulators through the years, almost all of them, even all of what Sseth's recommended in his reviews. However, I went and bought this game and it's so much more painfully mental than what even Sseth is capable of describing, it is just daunting. I seriously just couldn't deal with it all. Great reaction by the way, loving your content.

1:37 “cultivation” is an ancient taoist belief also called “internal alchemy”, through which the taoist caultivates his internal energy, not rice, and trough the refining of his internal/vital energy/chi he unlocks supernatural power and, eventually, stop aging (a “imortal” can still be killed, the tittle mearely means he stops aging). Think Crouching Tigers, Hiden Dragons, in which they use their chi to pratice wire-fu, perform some other impossible acts, slow down poisoning etc. the ex-monk starts the movie saying that he was on the verge of reaching immortality, but felt he couldn’t make the leap (because of his attachment to his brother’s widow) and abandon the monastic life.

Cultivation in the sense of Chinese mythology is basically honing your mind and body to the ends of not just spiritual enlightenment, but also physical nigh-deification. It's using your willpower to condense the literal power within you to surpass your own limits and ascend to new heights. Most commonly, it's used in reference to either becoming something like an avatar of war or achieving immortality like the Jade Emperor. It's a display of strength as well as proof that your spirit is stronger than your enemies, which is actually more in line with the truth. The perceived power of actual humans played a distinct role in Chinese history when it comes to characters like Liu Bei, Lu Bu, and Guan Yu or the Empty Fort Strategy.

24:37 the swastika was a budhist symbol even older than China that the nazis tilted to the wrong side and adopted as a symbol for the arians, an indo-european ppl (that is, a ppl that migrate from india to europe a long time ago) that was looking to retie themselves to india (hitler even wrote to ghandi, saying how much he admired the man and asking for his help in defeating UK). In asia (except russia) it retains it’s original meaning to this day. Imagine, for example, that some chinese dude starts going around promoting genocide while holding a cross. He isn’t cristhian, even says so, but he liked the drawing of a cross and is now using it as the symbol for his genocigin faction… would we, in the west, stop seen the cross as a symbol of christianity just because some weirdo half a world away decided to brand himself with it and do some shit? Well, the East decided to ignore the nazi shenanigans and keep using their swastikas as it was meant to be used

I mean, the Swastika is also super present throughout much of European culture before the Nazis as well. There are a LOT of old churches throughout Europe that'll have them plastered all over the walls and floors. Various symbols throughout Pagan religions are also directly tied in with the same general look and aesthetic of the Swastika. It's likely he simply saw the symbol at some church and decided to adopt it there,

If you are new to wuxia novels, then Warlock of the Magus World, by The Plagerist is a good read, as it is wuxia, just skinned in a european sword and sorcery theme, think king arthur and the knights of the round and the magic between the morrigan and merlin.

@@TheChillzoneX I should also mention one of the top of wuxia novels, and it is at the peak with the greats, simply for how well made it is. It is a "comedy parody" on the entier genre, named "Cultivation Chat Group" or ccg. It folows a character in our world and his journy thro cultivation, It is also a great novel for new ppl to the genre, since the MC Song Suhang knows nothing about the world of cultivation aswell, but I would read atleast 2 other wuxia novels before reading CCG (also since we are not finished with the translated version yet). I reccomend reading on "wuxiaworld" and not webnovel, especialy if you are taking a look at "warlock of the magus world", since the webnovel site riped the book from wixiaworld, and due to bot coppying, alot of the dialogue in the book was auto cut due to the use of ¨ .
