The first edition out on VHS ended much different than subsequent versions. While the credits were rolling it showed an air strike on Kutz's compound.

The documentary is just as great as the movie: Hearts of Darkness: A Filmmaker's Apocalypse I highly recommend watching. Great unseen footage and fun trivia type of information.
