Such a shame he's always written as a loser. Just being able to change the molecular structure of his body into anything makes him quite literally one of the strongest beings in fiction. But he also has other innate abilities on top of that regardless even though his powers could just replicate those anyway. And he has the knowledge to use and the time to master his powers as well as access to billions of years of knowledge and tech from the Celestials. It's just absurd what he can do versus what he is shown to do. But nope, he gets "killed" by Nimrod, Magneto or Stryfe. Now normally those names wouldn't make you think badly of someone being killed by them. However this is Apocalypse. He shouldn't be stopped by any of them ever. Apocalypse. The jobber to the stars. Even in the story where he wins, he still doesn't get to live up to what he could actually do and ends up losing.

If he's in the MCU it's gonna be a let down. everyone's watered down and weaker than even the inspiration comics the pull from. He's either gonna be very weak or it's gonna be a bs win. Like Squirrel Girl will show up and one shot him or something.

Apocalypse is probably my favorite villain, but his power and scale is very up and down over the years. For example, in that same inhuman/x-factor storyline, cyclops did destroy apocalypses body with his full optic blast. So just how resistant is he?? Next time we see apocalpyse was in the X-Cutioner song and he was still recovering after the beating by Cyclops and wasn't completely recovered when he was forced to be awoken by Stryfe. Styfe then absolutely manhandled apocalpyse. Apocalypse had to run from that right and go to the X-Mansion where he then saved xavier from the technoorganic virus that stryfe shot him with. but apocalypse couldn't even keep his body together and needed to sleep at the x-mansion before he, like an idiot goes to the moon to go after stryfe and was met by his Dark Riders who completely defeated apocalypse once again. Apocalypse was left dying on the moon when Archangel confronted him and apocalypse asking for a mercy killing, was left to die by archangel. Then there was the defeat by Magneto himself in the Age of Apocalypse. he has lost to Cable or X-Man many times Then there was defeats in the Twelve storyline. Defeats in that Peter Milligan Storyline where then Celestials came after him next. More recently, there was even a defeat by Nimrod. Now Nimrod is powerful... but considering the description of Vast Apocalypses power; there should have been no way for Nimrod to win.. but win he did. He also was described as being inferior to his own wife Genesis. Recently, his vast powers really haven't even been shown. For example in the recent X-men comics, he has been shown to be more flesh than machine, with many instances of him bleeding. He hasn't shown himself to be able to grow as large as he was in the Thor storyline or that Inhuman/X-FActor storyline. A lot of his original maleability powers are simply not being used. He is rarely seen flying anymore. I will give him that, He finally showed himself in Uncanny X-Men 700; but that display of power is rare now adays. he is mcuh more shown to be a powerful, but not overwhelming powerful character now.
