Loved Droids as I grew up. I got to enjoy the Far Awayverse the androids and it really stretched y imagination and built the worldscape... TF happened to surprising the audience with new sci-fi imagination? We're recycling to just earn cash... but we (as fans) want to pay for novelty. Make me gasp, not say, "Wait! Wait! Here comes the villain...etc." We're in a new era of safe movies that fill safes with money. I still heart Star Wars. TID... but they need to GTST before then.

Rogue One and Solo were great in my opinion. The sequel trilogy was the rollercoaster off the cliff. Branding existing canonical material as "Legends" was the destruction of the safety controls. Mando was the attempt to regain control. The Book of Boba Fett wasn't that bad for a spinoff idea, but it could have been better. Kenobi could have been far better. I haven't seen Andor or any of the other ones mentioned with it. The Acolyte was the only show that I was the most hesitant about. I love Sith, but after the Sequel trilogy I was extremely hesitant about the announcement of the show and I stopped watching this show partially through episode 3 and I have since washed my hands of this stuff.

Man, kinda disappointed with this video because I feel like it caters to the toxic side of star wars fandom and that’s a shame because I love variant comics. This is just my opinion but I am gunna rant. They did say in the video that people will disagree and I do but before I start I just want to say I have grown tired of Disney and their arrogance, they think everything they pop out is gold but it isn’t.. far from it, especially as of late. I can’t forgive Disney for what they did to Luke. I remember the days building up and after the force awakens. I wish we were still in that era of star wars because we were back baby! SO BACK! Those were some great days but we were wrong. The sequel trilogy was a disappointment, huge. Biggest mistake they need to learn from is planning ahead and hiring the right people to do the job. And I think Disney has done a “better” job at it (using better lightly). But whats ruining star wars for me nowadays isn’t Disney, it’s actually far from Disney. It’s the fans, especially the toxic ones.. honestly without Disney we wouldn’t have some of the great stuff we have now and I hate to say it but I do believe if gorge still owned Star Wars, we wouldn’t have nearly as good content as we do now. Though Gorge has said some things that I truly respect, Star Wars has always been for a younger audience and was always meant to be a big space adventure. And to see so many man child’s tear into a show or character is pretty embarrassing. I can’t defend the sequel trilogy expect for the force awakens (only some of it) but everything is no where near as bad as people make it out to be. The show literally shows why Boba is changing his ways, even Cad bane points it out, the bikers are barely in the show and even Gorge always says Star Wars was meant to be diverse. It made sense why Obi won a tired and depressed hero, dude saw and felt all his friends die and carries the burden of failing. It doesn’t make sense for him to go guns blazing when he’s protecting Luke! Plus the show ends on a high note for Obi. Now the acolyte is far from perfect but what gets me about that show was I do believe people just hated it because the people that were in charge of it. The show takes place during the high republic when the Jedi were at their peak. You know what happens when people think they are at their best? They get cocky. The Jedi was always meant to be shown as a flawed cult. Anakin is still our OG chosen one and nothing can take that away. The show showed that the witches used the force to make the kids, used as in aided. It’s wasn’t just solely the force. It’s implied/assumed that Palpatine and Plagues learned of this and tried to manipulate the force to their will but the force retaliated and chose Shim and created Anakin for balance. Star Wars hasn’t fell. Far from it actually, call me optimistic but I love some things that makes me feel young again. At the end of the day, this is all fiction and you can call me a brown noser but videos like these and others (looking at you Star Wars theory) is whats ruining Star Wars.

I'm not winning over any fans here but here goes. As far as your complaints about the Force Conceptions. In canon as of yet there is no one who directly influenced Anakin's conception. It is still regarded as the Force itself. The twins were conceived by direct action of the coven manipulating the force. Still a decent difference. Darth Plagueis Legends Novel made it seem like he may of had a hand in the event of Anakin's conception, but it was still ambiguous if that was the case. As far as the knowledge of the Sith. No one who knew the "Sith" were there are alive or remember. They all either died, or in Mae's case had their mind scrambled. There are other Force Users out there besides Jedi or Sith as evidenced by the Coven itself. Disney canon has established others especially during the High Republics Phase 2 comics showcasing the Force Conclave on Jedha. As far as Vernestra Rwoh could confirm there were dark siders involved with the hint of her former apprentice, but Sith is but one of multiple possibilities. So there is no reason to tell anyone there is Sith if they don't know they are Sith. It's not known information to the Jedi still. Also love how you flash pre Disney material as your ranting about Disney ruining the franchise early on. @8:25 Junior Jedi Knights books were written before the prequels. And the material you flash immediately after is still before Disney. And where is the Ahsoka series in your D+ rundown? I'm not disagreeing with most of your rundown overall though. Disney has mismanaged their stewardship a great deal. It's been very back and forth with the good and the bad. To be honest about George's outlines being tossed..... I go both ways. Without knowing where he wanted to head with it I can't say if it was bad or good that they went their own way other than yes they massively fumbled the sequel trilogy they made. But George's vision has always been better tempered through a filter of someone else's help. With what has garnered the most praise in Empire Strikes Back or the Clone Wars, he had others like Lawrence Kasdan, Irvin Kershner, or Dave Filoni to help his vision through. You can say what you want about the prequels, but in my opinion they were hurt by Geroge having near full control. That said Disney failed to have a cohesive plot planned out and let the directors go their own way for the worse. That said I hold out hope for the good. I don't know what to think of Skeleton Crew other than it's Star Wars Goonies. I am hyped to see the return to more anime shorts in volume 3 of Visions. Mando and Grogu's movie.... I'll hope for the best. Season 2 of Andor, I'll watch but it wasn't my favorite like most others despite loving Rogue One. But then I also hope that Patty Jenkins can get her Rogue Squadron movie in the air as the Space battles were always a fun highlight of many Star Wars film and I'd love to see a full film of insane starship action. For those that read the whole thing, I apologize for the rant. Like many of you Star Wars holds a special place in my life. But I do my best to keep an open mind. Always in motion is the future right? Even the EU had it's stinkers back in the day, and not every project is going to be for everybody. But if you go into something immediately hating it just because it's not what you remember, you're never going to enjoy anything. Regardless thanks for the video Arris and the Variant crew.

I would like to point out, you didn't really speak on the Ahsoka series. I love her character and that series could of been special. I think you tried to retcon Andor’s success which was one of the lowest viewed shows. I do agree with you on how they keep crapping on the OG Star Wars characters and need to get back to feeling the stories the fans want!
