This entire piece was incredible, then got to 8:00 and was blown away. Thanks for sharing the fun. And yeah I know it is an apocalyptic piece but still it was fun to listen to. 😁

Absolutely spectacular as usual. I just picked up the mother, sub, and dfam today. Was on the fence, but your videos sealed the deal for me. Just incredible what you can do with them (along with some of their friends).

Loving the modular tracks recently. Also, it might be worth checking out the Emblematic Catalyst. It’s a super flexible macro-crossfader for eurorack. It uses “scenes” just like the Octa

That Zen delay is not simply a delay I guess, it also shape the characters of the sound itself. Amazing pedals. I might consider buy some external pedals instead of using my DAW to give sounds effects😂

How would you compare the Heat to the Boum? Do you prefer one's sound over the other? Great jam!
@JayHosking2 жыл бұрын
I haven't had much luck with the Heat, honestly. It has a variety of cool sounds but often creates a harshness I don't love. By contrast, the Boum is more constrained, but the inclusion of a compressor makes it easier to fit into a jam. And thanks!
@unfamiliarenvironments4 ай бұрын
what about a double subharmonicon though you reckon? haven't seen anyone do it..... curious about running one very slow for drones and one for faster arp type sequences??
@JayHosking4 ай бұрын
Not sure it would work out super well in general. The SubH is finicky when it comes to playing with others; it's much easier to tune to the SubH once you have a song idea started. So two of them might be a bit like herding cats. But plenty of other great choices to pair with the SubH!
