I learned on a chinese bike. Built it myself 5 years ago it still fucking runs, only had to replace basic parts like any other bike... No different than buying a name brand or generic brand of any product. I would never buy anything but a Samsung/Sony TV, while plenty of people are happy with a Vizio. Chain roller!! Goes under the chain near the front sprocket. Do not fully tighten chain it’s not a bicycle it should have a chain guid on the back to keep chain on. Must leave chain a little loose because tension varies throughout suspension travel. Motor cross bikes and many others will have 2 one above the swing arm for bottomed out suspension

If somebody hasn’t already said it that piece u don’t know what it is, is a chain roller there should be a threaded hole for it on the frame just look and follow the chain till u see the hole and u bolt that up and it will keep tension on your chain to prevent the chain from coming off and chain slap when the suspension is working hard or hitting jumps n stuff.. bolt that baby up if u haven’t already! Hope that helps.. -Pistol Pete

Congratulation on your new bike, Evan. Regarding the mystery part, I think it is the chain roller. I have a very similar bike which is the Apollo RFZ DB X-18 version. My bike has the chain roller that is installed behind the bike stand and below the chain. It is attached to an arm and the arm is pushed up with a spring. I think the purpose of it is to keep the chain from sagging.

When people say when u assemble it out it on a bucket for the back to drop. What does that mean and how long does it take? Is assembling it hard?
@Off-GridProductions5 жыл бұрын
Assembling this bike is just bolting a couple pieces to the bike. (Front wheel, handlebar, front suspension, rear shock bolt) take a couple hours to make sure all the bolts are tight. When you put the rear shock bolt in, the back wheel will go down relative to the bike. If you put the bike on a bucket, then the wheel will come down and allow you to put the bolt in

Might want to check to oil type in your manual. If the bike has a wet clutch, you don't want to use conventional motor oil. It will damage the friction plates. Valvoline makes a 10W-40 wet clutch motor oil. You can buy it at most any auto parts store or Walmart.
