Yes, at the end the video. I state not to clip the pre amp on the Apollo. It's been a while, but the point of the video was to set your preamp gain so you're clipping the mic pre on the Apollo.

Why do you have the faders maxed in console ? Is that something you normally do when setting levels ?

It was probably just for my listening comfort.Those fader have nothing to do with the level going into your DAW. It was just monitoring.

But hitting UAD record will record the plugin into the DAW. What if you don't want that?

Go through monitor mode. It’s right next to record mode and it will light up blue. Record mode will light up red. I can make a video on that.

So I was seeing people say you need at least -12 gain on your Apollo preamp where do I look for that level at?sorry I'm new to this

Hey don’t know if you can help but better try then nothing. Anyways when I speak into mic even scream I can’t clip it it doesn’t even make it to yellow but on by Apollo it’s clipping why is this and can you help?

It might clipping the mic. Could be a bad cable. Something could be wrong with the Apollo. I'm not sure though.
