You should get the 48mm NIBBI air filter that goes with that carb. I also use the NIBBI throttle and cable for it. It's like butter... My bike rips now 😁👍

Just use a flanged carb. How about that? The spigot carbs don't fit. The adapters leak. The carb falls off. Use the correct carb. Flange mount.

I need to know proper chain size for my Apollo rfz DB 18? Is it the 428 110 link. I wanted to upgrade my chain having trouble finding what size it is

Get a 428 120 link just in case its always better longer and you can cut it im not sure how many link it is

428 is the size of the links and spacing between. Buy a new 428 chain wih at least 110 links. Buy a chain breaker tool with it. You will need to shorten the chain to fit. You'll need the special tool, or beat it to death with a hammer and punch, and squeeze back together with vice grips. Just Buy thr tool.

I got this carb for my Apollo but it’s bogging when WOT. What jetting do u think I should run for main and pilot?

If its bogging im guessing there is to much fuel going into it so it has a rich mixture so i recommend moving down 2 sizes from what it has in it now to have it smoothen out. I cant say exactly 2 but you may need to go down more depending on your elevation but try doing 2 sizes smaller and see what it does from there

@@quarans08 Mine had the sizes printed on them. When I received the carb from amazon it was running k38 pilot and a k90 main. I believe the K mean its keihin style jets.

22 pilot will work, but will be rich. You'll need closer to a 110 main. That carb has 2 stroke jetting. It'll work if it's rejetted.

Pretty sure all but one of my bikes have knockoffs. I've had to replace a couple carbs that were never right from the factory, so they aren't perfect, but the motor has no idea whose carb is on it. It's got the big slide, and that's what you want...
