The Apollo evacuation tone is very different than in an Apollo XP95 sounder base.

Unfortunately you can’t test this with 9V battery. You’ll need an addressable panel that can run Apollo protocol.

That’s the same exact noise the fire alarm at my previous English school in London (England) made, except a tiny bit faster than 2x on that KZbin video. Also, at 4:55, I’ve never heard an Apollo Discovery smoke detector make that scary noise before! I’ve always heard them do the evacuation tone. But not this… scary excuse of a freaking siren! 💀💀💀💀 They regularly do the fire alarm test every freaking Friday in London. Every. Single. Freaking. Friday.

Discovery sounder bases are way better than the XP95 ones as they are multi-tone

I prefer XP95 as they are better for deaf people as they flash. However everyone has their own opinion. I like the audio sounder son the discovery but XP95 is still my favourite
