I had a hell of a time getting the back brake to stop rubbing, so what I ended up doing was tightening those 5mm bolts you mention while holding the brake lever. That helped keep it in place while applying torque. Now there's no rub!

Hey AWESOME video, I saw that you guys made a tire replacement tutorial for the City variant. Is it kinda the same with the Explore?
@4ioshack4 жыл бұрын
Awesome but the first screw you unscrew is super tight is that suppose to be the case bc it will break the tools that came with the scooter

What's the problem with a "loose brake"? I am not sure if mine is loose, but it still brakes just fine. I just serviced my scooter to get rid off the rubbing

Just got my Explore today. Brand new. The brakes are SO stiff. Is that going away after a some use? It's tough for the hands to hold on to continuously.

Why do you put the onus on the customer to do all of the repairs and maintenance? It’s really strange…

Hi @Shon Jon, we do adjust the brakes at the factory, but some adjustments will be needed from time to time, especially after some extended usage

Hi! I like all your videos because of all the detail you provide; for someone like me who's '0' handy they are really helpful - well done! Can you make a video on how to adjust Apollor City rear brake? (which is not disc). I've had mine for 3 months now and I noticed the brake handle is lower now. Thank you.

Can this scooter off-road?
@bradfisher37544 жыл бұрын
It has dual suspension- spring in front and dual spring in the rear. The suspension coupled with the 10" pneumatic tires means it can definitely hit some trails. Although it is considered a commuter scooter, is can also be considered the "best of all worlds" of the Apollo lineup.
@danik3211234 жыл бұрын
Just a bit...It is NOT designed for any rough terain. It is really a road scooter. If you do hit rough terrain, the brake alignment CAN offset causing squeal and xtra noise requiring re-alignment. The suspension is minimal. It looks impressive on the Apollo site but in real life, it is minimal.

Is the 5MM tool included with the Scooter?
@AzaniCarpenter_11224 жыл бұрын
NOPE! Struggling with that now!!
@desmond-hawkins3 жыл бұрын
A whole set of hex keys (or Allen keys) of various sizes are included with the scooter, it's one of those tools where they're all bunched together like a swiss army knife. It's not the exact same tool that he's using, but there's a 5mm hex key in there.
@MrNoahTall3 жыл бұрын
There's a multitool set that comes with the scooter, but it's better to spend the $10-15 on a proper set. Here's the one I got: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07GNW332G/
