They've fixed it! (Improved apon the flaws of the ghost) This one has a proper thumb speed controller, a proper high mount head light, and a front mud guard that actually guards against mud, this company are obviously listening to it's customers.

A couple of things I can think of to improve the Phantom: Front Left/Right Turn Indicators, Underdeck Colored Strip Lighting, & Improved Display Brightness in Sunny Conditions.

Why wouldn't they just expose the indicator lights so it can be seen from both front and back? Seems an easy enough solution probably even save money.

After two months of having posted this video: Have you guys had any of the issues some owners are reporting on social media? On specs, I want to pull the trigger, but with al those reports, I don't know if I should wait even longer for the enhancements that actually Apollo has talked about on their own YT channel. From lose and missing screws, to weird throttle behavior, dents/scratches, to some things like the hex display being to dim. What are your thoughts about this? PS: It's hard to understand how there are so many YT reviews, including yours, that are so positive, and having the other side of things, with as many issues popping up, that Apollo has acknowledged them. I don't know what to think about this scooter/model. Why do I ask thus on your YT profile? Because your reviews and videos are, IMHO, the best of all, and I seem to trust your opinion.

Awesome..have you guys ever tested bigger brakes using an adapter? Such as buying the plate and going from a 140mm or 160mm in this case to a lightweight 203mm. I did this on my mountain bike. Maybe even going to a hydraulic brake like Avid 1 from the mechanical brakes? You would think scooters will adapt valve's shocks like a 85cc dirt bike too. Maybe 35mm or something close to that.

52.6V is about 63% : ) This is why those battery bar displays are useless. The estimating range feature is pretty cool though.

Forgot to mention the deck dimensions. Also I think it would have been good to mention that this will be coming in a 60V and a 60V Ludicrous variant with sine wave controllers by the end of this summer. About that range test though, it's hard to believe you got 45 miles unless you babied it (maybe you meant km) . I barely get 17 miles with that same battery size on a 10X with the exact same 1200W dual motors. Unless Appolo did some alien magic with those controllers don't expect 45 miles if you want to have fun. I say 20 max.
@RIDEGLIDE3 жыл бұрын
Deck dimensions at just after 5 minutes in the vid. We don’t have full detail on the 60v version yet or even when it will be available so didn’t want to put wrong info out there. We definitely got 45miles on the range test, welcome to come down and test for yourself, let us know 🙌

@@RIDEGLIDE My bad on the deck dimensions. I was trying to compare deck length between this and your Nami Burn-e Viper review. This review had the deck dimensions but it was the Nami Burn-e review that did not, so I could not compare. Regarding the 60V Phantom, Appolo did announce the two variants on their channel in an interview. They said end of summer and also their head engineer Eloi mentioned that an updated version of their sine wave controllers, from their discontinued Pro line, will appear in the 60V Phantom Ludo.

I'm glad you mentioned break, I have one that breaks all of the time,Seriously! I would recommend buying something from your "local"e-bike shop! Before riding mine for the 1st time, I lubed the axles and suspension with lithium grease, and after 55 miles, no issues. I think Apollo's main problem is that their quality control isn't very good. When the unit is built correctly, it's awesome. But it's not acceptable that so many of their customers are basically gambling on getting a workign unit.
@robbybobby4102 жыл бұрын
@@RIDEGLIDE I got mine from their web site but I could tell that it was probably ridden and assembled before I had it. Because the handlebars should be loose all the parts there, but they were already tight and adjusted for a previous rider. I noticed the front wheel was definitely oblong because when you drive it the front tire was vibrating so bad. I work at a tire shop and I use it everyday for getting to work but the front tire has always vibrated no matter where I put the wheel weights. I ordered some new tires so I hope that will help but definitely should not have been sold with a tire so off balance. Very dangerous. But once I fixed that part somewhat it is fast and fun!

This is my first scooter and probably the best toy I've had in my 38 years of life ; ) kzbin.infoUgkxvyNuxpWiHTNypxG6nyqyf7ywc7Q16PDM The assembly was easy - Took me 10-12 mins to get it set up and enjoy a quick ride before putting it on the charger for the full charge.I love the push-off feature vs. some of the other scooters that start with direct acceleration. I believe this allows a bit more of a stable start with a jerk reaction. I also like the throttle/acceleration feature that its a slow increase in speed vs. what you would get in a motorcycle. I've taken advantage of the anti-theft system when taking the scooter out to the beach and city. I like the anti-theft system as well as the need to enter a code after you turn it on before you can operate. The powerful front lights are helpful for a night ride. You can see in the picture how powerful the light is as a reflection on the garage. I'm impressed with the lightweight and how easy it was for me to get it set up and going. I would highly recommend this for someone looking for a scooter.
