1. You were probably still holding the cover 2. You placed the pen on your ear while showing the cover at your elbow 3. You put the cover on the hand that you used to remove the pen on your ear then put the cover there 4. You snapped back the pen into your hands Fell for it when watching it at first but after listening to what you said again, I understood that my attention was mostly on the pen and cover, not on the surrounding movement 🔥🔥🔥

the card slides downward. like he is pulling it down with his other hand which is hidden. if you don't have to go frame to frame. when he taps the box, hit the pause button. Then hit play and pause really fast. you'll see which way the card goes. But where it goes after that? you got me. great trick.

I think it was flicked to the side behind his wrist and out of our view but that flick is covered up by the snap and the blow. It takes our attention away from the movement that flicks the pen out of our view which is already hard to track with our eyes because the hand can move faster than the eye can follow.

I think I know what he's doing, I might be wrong, but he's pretty fast (this is told from the magician's POV): He's pinching the coint horizontally with his left thumb and index finger, in a way that it's not easily seen. He then shows his right hand to be empty, but never shows the palm of his left hand. He then begins to "stroke" the empty space between his right thumb and index finger with his left hand. The second you see him raise his left thumb, he's pinching the coin again, this time with his right hand, while the left index finger covers it. To make the coin appear, he simply raises the coin slowly from his fingers. To make it disappear, he pinches the coin horizontally (again), this time with the left middle finger and thumb.

The pen trick is dead simple lol. You first have a pen and a cap. Show that your about to cap the pen and then grab the cap and place it on your elbow while you are placing your pen behind your ear. Show that the pen disappeared. Now take the pen out and replace it with the cap. Show that you want to cap the pen but the cap is behind your ear!! :)

watch 1.32 you can see how he put the cap behind his ear. He switched the cap from one hand to the other, before taking the pen from behind his ear. He replaced the pen by the cap. His hand is actually empty when he pretends to place the cap on the pen.
