Wow I never noticed until now that the first two spins the gun points at him, hinting that he was probably going to die, but on the third spin it points to the flower. It's like he is shaking an 8 ball multiple times hoping for a different result. Amazing that with every rewatch of the show I notice something new!

-Why say goodbye: Why should Walt give up and accept death. -We are born again when we die: Walter died during his mental breakdown and was born again as Heisenberg. -When he was 'born again' his first act was were poisoning Brock to manipulate Jesse. Notice how after Crawl Space he comes across as completely soulless. Theres barely any semblance of Walt whatsoever until season 5B.

I absolutely love the emotion they managed to strike here. Everything has finally caught up to him. Gus can’t go after his family because the DEA is protecting them and Walt can’t go to the police because he’s a criminal. It just really hits the feeling of being out of time. Like a criminal in the old west waiting to be hanged. There’s no way out (until he gets his idea)

Walt takes the cigarette from Jesse when they have a smoke outside the laundromat, he takes a few puffs and then puts it out as the ricin was in the middle of it. Such a kick-ass season!

That's interesting....especially if it were Hank. I hope we come back to visit the flashforward teased at the beginning of the season. I'm thinking it could go either way at the dinner scene for Hank....I think the news is so shocking, mind-blowing, he might just confront Walt about the knowledge he has right then and there. But I also think he may want to go back and review all the details, connect the dots, and then come back for him. But I'm just not 100% sure.

Yeah, that scene! Yes, Walt really does have some interesting talks with his son. You know, they were going to have an exchange between those two back in the Season 3 finale. They had to cut it for time, but it was apparently one of the last things to go. I hope it ends up in the collector's box set one day, because I'm waiting to buy the entire series once it is complete.

Giancarlo Esposito is definitely one of the most talented actors in the business. Compare Gus Fring's character with other characters he has played, you see how unique Gus Fring is as a character. Gus is quite the psychopath. And yeah, those scenes are quite the twists. I can't wait to see how the series pans out from Hank finding that out! I mean, I'm trying to picture how the next scene can go. How is Hank going to react back at the lunch scene with the family? I can't wait to find out!

@thatONEmachine Yes, it is a big question. We have no idea what he did from the time he looked at the plant till late that night. That's a good 12 hours or so that he had. It's not an issue of when, he had plenty of time. It's an issue of how he did it...there are a number of theories floating about, like how he got Saul's bodygaurd Huell to lift the cig from Jesse when he gave him the pack back. But who gave the Lilly of the Valley to Brock? Maybe Walt payed Saul to get it done. Who knows?

Yep, completely up to date. I can't wait till next summer! I feel the exact same way, it really is perfect in every aspect. I keep expecting a slip-up, but the show(thankfully) never does! It just gets better and better. It's going to be hard to say goodbye to the show once it officially ends next year....I'm trying to fill the void between now and next year with other dramas(i.e. Homeland), but they just can't match Breaking Bad.

That's what seems to be the most likely. The only reason I'm thinking he would act contrary would be the shock factor....and he's just so tired. He told Walt 3 months before the scene at the mid-season finale how he was getting tired of chasing monsters. But, he'll probably resort to things the cerebral way, like he has been. The important thing is he has a hunch. And he never relinquishes on a hunch.

Yes, you are correct in that it's cumulative...but there are certainly high points and low points in the story. I'm not saying choose one over the other -- because, every single scene in the series is important -- but surely there must have been a moment that elicited a poignant reaction? Walt in the crawl space? Hank vs the Cousins? "That is not meth." ? The philosophical 4 Days Out and Fly? The train heist? Oh....soooo many.

Hmmm....My favorite? I really like Walt.....actually, I don't think there's any character I don't like, but I think my favorite besides him might be Walt Jr.(Flynn). I feel like there is a lot of depth to his character that we rarely get to see. The scene with him and Walt in Season 4, episode 10 is one of my favorites in the series.

Oh gosh....hmmm.....Well, for a while, I've felt like the 3rd Season was my favorite. I really liked the 2nd season, but the finale was my least favorite in the series. The 4th season was awesome, very very dark....Even though it's been over a year, it still feels like it's a bit too soon to tell if I like the 4th more than the 3rd. No, I agree. None of the ones I've watched are as good as Breaking Bad. The Walking Dead is solid, read a lot of the comics earlier this year after season 2 ended. I've heard lots of good things about Game of Thrones and Sherlock, but haven't gotten around to them yet. Started the Starz show Boss today, it has my interest.
