I adore Jill Jones. This interview with her was just so delightful to watch she’s well spoken and honest it’s refreshing.

I remember this story at the time it wasn’t funny but today we can laugh about it. I can just picture what Jill said An see Prince running back in fourth to the guitar an the piano An probably played some thing else too.😂💜

Woooooooooooowwww!!! That’s about all I can say. I’ve been in the position of having to switch up instruments at the last minute and/or filling in, but not for anything anywhere near as high profile as this. I can’t imagine. Well, at least they were behind the curtain.😂 And, yeah, after something like that, you can’t help but fire the perpetrators…friends or not.

I'm kinda surprised Prince didn't have HIS band know all those songs in case of an emergency like that. Then Fink and Brown Mark could have just slid in there.

According to *Mark,* that is what they did for _The Time_ set, which was right after the _Vanity 6_ performance. *Prince* played Jam's keyboard parts while *Mark* played the bass. They stood just offstage in the wings and out of view of the audience, while *Jerome* strapped on a bass and stood in Terry's position onstage and mimed playing the instrument. Not sure why Prince and Mark didn't just do the same for the _Vanity 6_ set list, given that _The Time_ and *Jill* played behind the stage curtain for _Vanity 6._

@@oubriokothis is the first I've heard of Mark playing. The more common story is that Prince played the bass while Lisa played keys. Jerome said this

I'm glad that they didn't film it backstage cuz seeing it now, the general public would have ate it up....

Ha ha ha 😅.....Jill claims to be Black. She does speak on having to straighten and dying her hair in other interviews. She's also very active in black politics. So laugh on that. Who knew? Looks like not you.😊👍

Eminem is very active in black "politics" too. LOL Tell me how that has anything WHATSOEVER to do with his physiology.

Firing Jam And Lewis for not being there for the reasson they were not there was appropriate. Unfortunately, that was the end of The Time.
