When I was 11 Years Old this "Apoorva Sagodharargal "Film Released. This was So Special film for Me & Unforgettable 😢 This was my Dad's Most Favourite film and of course for me too. Becoz this was the Last Film which I saw with my Dad in theatre. This Movie Released in April 1989. Right from Next Month he went on Sudden severity of his health and It was identified he was affected with Bladder Cancer. He is Pure Veg with No Bad Habits, we Shocked. In November 1989 he Passed Away after Undergoing Treatment. Whenever I use to listen this film songs all memories comes. We watched in Housefull within ten to fifteen days of the Movie Released. Maestro ILAYARAJA music made me More Frightening in theatre. Especially first 20 minutes of Dad Kamal murder portions with Grandier music of MAESTRO ❤🎉 I use to listen this music and songs, even though it pains I feel that I need that pain. Because I love my dad that much. My Mum passed away this year April in her 78. All pains I use to pump out through Maestro ILAYARAJA Music. He is my Pain Healer and i feel Raja sir is with my Soul❤🎉 No one can Replace his place in this Film industry. 🎉 KING OF MUSIC. Maestro ILAYARAJA ❤

The best after Nayagan BGM, unexpected combinations of violin, bass trumpets, extra ordinary crystal clear Drum beats, flute and what not, it's sheer beauty and magic in music, it was far way ahead in time, these instrumental sounds heard in this movie was never heard before and after, very very unique, sir's basic BGM was there but it exploded or blossomed into something very new and fresh, it gives the feel that you Ilayaraja sir are another individual standing in the scene yet not seen, your presence is felt equal to Hero, boosting in each and every frame. No wonder you and Kamal sir combo slightly have a little above than our wonderful Heroes of Tamil cinema. A masterpiece which i enjoyed in Devi paradise in the year of release of this movie. The action scenes were pounded by sir's thumping music. We all who enjoy this music are a gifted bunch of people.

While watching the movie in theaters this bgm makes to keep pin drop silence and makes to goose bumps and some were to fly don't know were to go that much enthusiastic scores have been made for the film then it self...Maestro the genius...

Composer duo Ajay-Atul heard the songs/track of the Hindi version (Appu Raja) back then, and were INSPIRED by this music to become composers! They consider Maestro Ilayaraja as their idol, just like Anand-Milind duo - aka LEGACY. The themes are enough to visualize the scenes. That opening theme is spine-chilling, and how it mellows down (1:02) to the iconic breakup / heartache theme is GENIUS! Anirudh and co. effortlessly copy-pasted this to their Thiruchitrambalam breakup theme by mixing it up with a few generic notes. They are all seriously following what director Balki said sarcastically!

@@kasiraman.j True. After some 60s-70s Tamil, Hindi songs (a variety of composers), it is ILAYARAJA's songs that move you to tears even when you are in a happy state of mind. In fact, 95% of IR's melodies are better than what his predecessors composed, in that way and more.
