I did the opposite route. Unbaptised but raised in a Protestant environment, baptised catholic at age 11 in a very “liberal” (basically non-observant) parish, moving to some sort of whacky gnostic theism, to atheism (around 18-23), then through some new age rubbish. Around age 26, I came to terms with all this and declared that I’m constantly learning and discovering and can’t fit into any dogma - I live quite a secular life, but practise Germanic neopaganism, chaos magick and mysticism. The main influence on my worldview now seem to be Ibn Arabi, Eckhart of Hochheim, Zen and Chaos magick

Let me get this straight. You claim to be inspired by Christian and Muslim philosophers, practise a branch of polytheistic neopaganism, and then also subscribe to what sounds like a variation of religious atheism? Do you see no conflict between the metaphysical underpinnings of those belief systems?

Kindly clarify this serious statement from catholic church that outside of the church there is no salvation? Is the figurative or literal?

There is no salvation outside the Church. Those who perform the works but have the wrong faith will at most go to Limbo. But even they will have to confess their faith in Christ and join the Church at the Second Resurrection to finally be saved.
