This free monthly public event is presented by the American Philosophical Practitioners Association (APPA). This inaugural APPA Agora is hosted by Lou Marinoff, and features special guest Pierre Grimes, founder of the Noetic Society and the first philosophical counselor of the 20th century. Pierre talks about WWII, counseling alcoholics, his friendship with Alan Watts, LSD, Homer, Plato, Socrates, Parmenides, Socratic Midwifery, the meaning of dreams, and more ... followed by a Q&A with an array of philosophical practitioners.

I was disappointed that the host did not allow PG to elaborate on the question about Allan Watts. A question i have had for years. Overall the host did a good job of keeping the conversation flowing but it was shallow.
