I spent so many hours on those engines. It was like an oven on those SD's in the summer ,and in the winter half the time the heaters wouldn't work.

The A&O is actually still under operation by P&L transportation. Its still called the A&O, and they're still running coal and freight operations! Although these are SD50's, this certainly isn't what they use now. I'm not sure what the horn type is on them, but the engines they use now are GP38-2's. Watco transportation gave up the line in 2006, and the A&O now leases the line from CSX. The A&O also still interchanges freight and coal with CSX at the Grafton terminal. Trains like Z711 and V830 interchange with CSX.

Great Video and Leslie rs3l horn. I can tell the conductor doesn't like the loud horn , he keeps closing the front door since they don't have air conditioning
