I second that, my husbands ben passed on 10+ years now and I still miss him. Hearing you and David joke around and the banter between you 2 is great it lightens my heart, it brings joy into the world I enjoy it a lot. Hello sweethearts! I love the two of you so much. Ok, I'm 73, back when I was 9, my dad would sneak bites of raw round steak and ground meat, he would salt and pepper them. Please remember our meat was handled differently then. They also didn't gmo the feed and they didn't process the way of today. I loved raw meat back then, wouldn't touch the stuff they process now adays. Back in the 70's they had a hamburger steak recipe on the back of the Lipton soup box, it was kinda like this the best I remember. I'm going to make your recipe to freeze, then I can pull one out for my daughter and I to throw in the air fryer.

After World war II when there was so many shortages this was very big. They really do taste good and at least trying times when people are having so much trouble feeding the families this is a great extender. You can make that pound of meat go a long way depending on what you put in it, how much bread. This was a really good one in these trying times for so many people. Thank you

My Mom made these growing up...she fried hers in an iron skillet...she would do this when short on time...they were so good...crispy on outside....yummy....so flavorful....so happy to see you guys!

Brenda, I make a pound of hamburger with one envelope of Lipton Beefy onion soup mix --mix together good, nothing else. The soup mix is so salty so I do not add more so it is healthier. Make into patties brown them and then one half can of Mushroom soup mix and half can of water. mixed together and poured over patties and cook uncovered on low for about 15 minutes. Can add mushrooms to the gravy also when cooking. Great with mashed potatoes. Easy and fast plus my kids loved them. Gonna try your recipe. David talking about Dandelion greens, we picked those when young and tender along with wild mustard and lambsquarter from the yard, cooked them, poured off water. and added vinegar or a little bacon grease. YUMMY! You guys are so much fun to watch!

Most of the viewers here love the honest talk between two people working together. Without David filming Brenda we wouldn’t be seeing her here, I would say that is work or a job at least. This talk between a husband and a wife is helpful and witty. The cooking of the patty’s would be boring if they didn’t joke around and exchange in the witty talk we like to hear. They combine in cooking and witty talk which keeps us entertained a lot, and makes us very happy! sorry to hear David’s talk and his joking with his wife offends you. His talk doesn’t offend Brenda, . I think she would get the “wooden spoon , or frying pan” after him if he made her pretty mad. Meanwhile 99% of the viewers here love the banter between them😍😊🤓

I use saltine crackers in my meat loaf too not bread crumbs. And I always add a beaten egg to help bind the loaf. I prefer tomato ketchup over bbq sauce. And for the topping I use 1 cup of ketchup 1 tblspn of cider vinegar and 1/4 cup brown sugar and smooth it on about 15 min before the loaf is done baking. Sooo yummy! i like the crackers the best and sometimes if I dont have them adn I do have corn flakes, then I will use the corn flakes. If I have nothing else then I will use un seasoned bread

Sue I hope that you will try something. It just might be as good as it ooks. I try to make things as easy as possible to make. I like to try and help the younger people learn to cook some. It working. Of course my videos is for the world to see. I want people to be able to cook my food and it is good with out waste. If it is easy and tasty then hopefully it will be worth eating a lot of and freeezing the leftovers for another day or for lunch the next day. David gets a lot of lunches like this.Thanks for the love that yu are sending to us. We are wearing our mask and washing and washing of the hands. we both use a ton of santizers. and sprays. I ave an immune system disorder. I am going to sign up for my injections tomorrow. my first one. it might take a couple of days. I am going to do another video first incase it make mefeel bad. I dont think that the first one do. I have a bunch of family on my and Davids side that th second one made them feel real bad. I am glad that my videos make you happy.
