My concern… if someone abducted her, and gets wind of this idea, they will never return Sadie .. for fear of being in trouble….this is absolutely so gut wrenching to me, I absolutely pray that she is safe and well .. love the first interview with Bright Eyes, she is an amazing lady! This has got to be so hard on her.. my heart goes out to her ! Thank you Ramdino for all you do!

The detour is still in effect because there is a “bridge” that was damaged in the storm on 2023. I spoke to a ranger in April who said they are actively working on it but hope to have it repaired by Memorial Day weekend, but it could take a little longer

I seen that picture of the Northern Lights on the MacAfee Knob that someone posted, Awesome!! I have a pair of what the call hiking Sketchers, it didn't take me long to realize they ARE NOT HIKER SHOES!!! Still praying for Sadie to be found, and how sick that someone would put fish hooks in dog treats, hopefully they catch them and put them behind bars!!! Lol on bear temp,hahaha!! Thank you always for the updates and all you do for the hiking community!!

Another great video, thank you! Captain Jack just posted (yesterday) a video where he hiked with a local living near Bear Mountain, he showed the BearMountain detour signs but the local individual said the trail was fine so they took it and it looked just fine to me as well on the video. Who knows??

yep they are managed by the ones who take the horse trails and they have dogs that gather the ponies and yes they are tame, they look like ponies from the island on the coast of Virginia . at the bottom of several hills they have pens to work em.

Great ❤ loved bright eyes you are the best supporting her…I unleash my dog our pace is different and mines tiny under feet ….i totally understand I’m only hiking pa as I’m old lady going south to not be around people you encourage me soooooo much …I’ll be back on trail next week 🙏🏼😇prayers for Sadie……I had hiker dog that did 5 miles and laid down and died on me in my arms ….halfway through our hike that day …she died doing what she loved at 13…. I’m praying for miracle for Sadie to be found

Shelters usually check for microchips. I'm assuming Sadie has one. The dog treats could have also harmed wildlife.

Hey Ramdino. I heard the Russell Shelter was closed and there are warnings at Mollies Ridge Shelter effective May 15, 2024. I have not heard and cannot find anything about the Cosby Knob shelter. Can you point me to where I can find those warnings? Trying to plan a section there next Spring just behind the biggest part of the bubble but before shelters get closed. Thanks for all you do Ramdino. Glad you are on the uphill swing from your surgery.

I hope Sadie is found soon. Can’t Micki use find my air tag? I just looked it up and it apparently works for a big distance. I used it once to find my iPhone that, as it turned out, I had left at work which was several miles away. Just haven’t seen anyone mention that. For others looking for it to show up on their phones, it only works about 35 feet. But find my feature works for a much larger radius.

Thanks again for your channel, Ramdino. I've got a question for those who spend time on the trails. Are there more people hiking while recording for their channel or are there more hikers hiking without broadcasting their hike. I watch so many hikes that it sometimes seems like everyone has a channel and that if I were to attempt a thru hike without putting it out there on my channel, that I might feel weird.

The trail community needs Godly imagery. The Trail days hemp support logo teaches our youth, adults to partake of evil. James 3:15-16 for sure. So, I hope this imagery is eliminated for HE is the judge. James 4:12
