This is a remarkable documentary. One if the best hiking documentaries, by a mile. I loved the way you have so succinctly captured so many peoples' motivations to be on the trail. Every part is packed full of heart, charm, unique characters, interesting narration and individual stories, as well of course as the views along the trail. In an era of repetitive unimaginative video your quality stands out. FYI, in 2020 the WOKE Appalachian Trail Conservancy was DEMANDING everyone stay off The Trail and hide in their homes. Remember that the ATC did not want hikers on The Trail that year. The ATC has refused to issue completion certificates for most 2020 thru-hikes.

I am a long distance bike rider. And I've come to learn something about myself. If I want to do it, if I really want to do it. I will. So for me doing something like the AT would be 80% mental, and 20% physical. All I need is to get in better physical shape, and get better gear.
