Great video today! I’m so sorry that you had Rocky mountain spotted tick! My cousin who is a city girl came down with that a few years ago. No one at the hospital knew what was wrong with her. So her husband goggled every symptom and that’s what it was. A big hospital bill and it took her husband and goggle to figure it out??? Yikes. She did not feel to good for a few weeks. Take care of yourself and stay hydrated. Hike on!! 🥾🏕️🐻🧗♀️🇺🇸😊

Amazing how fast the trail gets covered over this time of the year. Great view from that camp site!

I watch several people on trail ,that’s the worst that I have seen with maintenance ….early in the year lots of blowdown in the beginning of trail ,through the Smokies ,now it’s gorgeous with ferns and wildflowers also the mountain laurels 🌿🍃. Thanks for the video

A couple of years ago I started getting very dizzy when climbing hills in hot weather. For me it was just hydration. I started using electrolytes while hiking and it stopped. 👍 I’ve had several health issues never experienced before 😢age 73.

I've got LMNT electrolytes now so hopefully that'll take care of it.

You nailed that morning view looking into West Virginia! Just hiked up past those power line crossings last month. The trail was wide open then. Don’t let the goats get you! 😂

I really enjoy watching vlogs of all AT hikers. You see different views of the trail. I plan on the AT on March of 2024. Trail name, telrpm. As in telephone repairman.

Beautiful view and skyline! What a great spot for sunset and to start your next day. I was surprised to see trail grown over 😮. Following along…

Near the 20 minute mark you are looking down into Burke’s Garden. This is where George Vanderbilt originally wanted to build his Biltmore Estate. Locals would not sell. On to Asheville.

This is for anyone thinking they may have a heat issue. I had five stress test that indicated all was good. I had a number of other test that said the same thing. I only had pain in the soft tissue under my jaw and was exhausted. They found the problem with a CT scan. I had 50/50 blockages on both sides of my heart. That is why the stress test results were good. They are looking for pressure imbalances. It took three trips to the ER to find it. They were about to let me go home when the cardiologist ordered the CT scan. If you think something is wrong keep after it until you get it resolved. Your life depends on it.

Agreed, the challenge is at what point do you just agree with the Dr's. or keep spending money. In your case I probably would have quit after the 3rd stress test depending on the severity of my symptons.

I can't believe that section is so overgrown. Looks like no one's hiking lately. Certainly no maintenance being done

The light headed can be very serious. A month ago I was very winded from light exertion and light headed. It turned out that I had a bleeding ulcer that put me in the hospital for 10 days. Probably going to be 2 months for me to mostly recuperate. You really should have gone home. This was dangerous. You could pass out and have a bad fall. Good Luck, Rick

I've had all the test the cardiologist can give me and he gave me a clean bill of health. I think the light headiness was RSF related.
