Thanks for taking us along again Kaity :) Great video, love those open meadows. You girls are sure seeing a variety of terrrains and places on this trail. Was looking at some coins I have yet to move along and one is of the Appalachian, its a green one in the shape of those badges I see on videos. Also glad to hear you got new shoes, sounds like it was time to get them. Hike on :) Stay safe!

This is my back yard! I’ve stayed at the Priest shelter on one of my section hikes. When I am able to do a hike, I want to start at the road just north of Priest (where you crossed the Tye River) and do a flip-flop. (That road intersects the trail about 12 miles from my house.)

LOL “I’m being safe I promise, mom!” That was great :) But having seen how silly your mom can be in some of your videos, she might be doing the same thing if she were there! ;) I’m glad the store was open for y’all! The fogscape (is that a word? The foggy forest, I mean) was beautiful! Does FOCS have a snake-handler card or something? This is the 2nd video I’ve seen where she’s the one trying to gently convince the venomous snake to move along-eek! Who started the “new boot goofin’ “ thing? It seems like a Kaity thing but y’all are saying it-so cute :) It’s great that you can totally appreciate those special blessings in life, like porta-potties and trash cans :) Stay strong! TFTV :)

Yay new trail shoes! Boots goofin'! Wow, everything is so green! Almost looks like another country! Definitely not all green like that here in California! I liked the spooky looking forest! Go Kaity go! I'm very curious about all the gear and how long it all lasts. Shenandoah is getting close to where I am. We drove skyline drive a year or two ago, lots of earthcaches there.
