Omg, that was the most amazing filming of any summit I've watched. I am so freaking proud of you both!!! Loved captains encouragement and soft voice. He and another thru hiker got ahold of chain saws and cleared eight miles of the trail in Southern Virginia, before he had to get back. He missed about 30 miles to Damascus because of closures, and he didn’t want to hike there on a road. He did have a super time, and it looks like the two of you did too.
