After making deals with all of the Mob Bosses, the group finds that the actual thief/administrator, Lord Neverember, has tasked the group with rescuing some missing nobles in exchange for one of the keys to the Vault of Dragons. Additionally, he has offered the group the largest, err, second largest cash reward to the party of they would just give him the gold instead of the 3 other organizations vying for said loot. The highest being Jarlaxle that, offered them favors from a would be king. Its debatable who's higher. Needless to say, as they wander into the first chapter of #Vecna #EveofRuin, the Hallix Mausoleum will be the beginning of a new phase of this campaign.
