If what is said is true about them doing one book for one season, that seems to be a great choice, if each episode is round about an hour, and each season is 6-8 episodes, that would really give the creative team the time to expand upon all of the stuff that was left out from the movies! I really hope Max does this series justice!

I know JK is very intent on keeping the casting to the UK and Ireland, and I totally respect that, (by the way I’m glad she kept the rights to creative control over her work) BUT I really hope she gives a pass to Adam Driver as Snape. I really really like that casting idea. He would be perfect and I know he could do a good British accent. He would be a great successor to the late and great Alan Rickman imo

Good call. I have a few actors in mind, probably at the top is Bill Skarsgard, he plays an amazing bad guy. He was excellent as Pennywise, and apparently he’s going to kill it as Count Orlock in the forthcoming Nosferatu remake, I absolutely believe he could nail Voldemort. He’s already bilingual so he should have no problem learning a British accent

I would be so so happy if Iain Glen is cast as Dumbledore. It just feels right. And Kristian Nairn as Hagrid I’m not too sure about. It’s going to be so hard to separate Robbie Coltrane away from Hagrid for me. Even though this is most likely fake, it still fills me with excitement about what is to come. The level of hype that’s going to come with this series is going to be HUGE. I hope it begins to rival what we saw while waiting for the books, but only time will tell. As we get nearer more of these are going to surface and I hope you dissect every single one of them!

If they are going to be true to the characters, then I would like to see Cole Sprouse as Snape. He ticks all the boxes. In his 30's, slim body and uneven teeth. Shoulder-length greasy black hair which frames his face, and cold, black eyes. Similar to Sprouse's Jughead character in Riverdale.

Guys, i honestly think that they are doing a GREAT job with the casting, i like the actor they’re probably going to choose, they are really similar to the book character without the need of any makeup, special effects, ecc… I didn’t have many expactations about casting but i really like them a lot! The only one that i can’t really accept is Petunia, i know that actress from the series of Sabrina… She’s amazing but she really has nothing of Petunia, is actually the complete opposite.

The one for “voldemort” is a awsome actor! Loved him for a lot of movies, but he seems more like a perfect Young Romeo Riddle. And Peter is just nothing sort of amazing i would love for him to play such an iconic role and character. He was my favorite Doctor as well

Tbf for me my favourite pick for Lupin would be Andrew Garfield. He is age adequate and I think he could really flesh out the tragic part of Lupin's character. As for Sirius I would still go with the most popular fancast for him as well and that would be Ben Barnes and Aaron Taylor Johnson for James. Their younger versions should also be unknow actors like the golden trio imo but that resemble their older actors

Didn’t like Ralph as Voldemort. The one I saw from the first movie and the kid Voldemort feel like the same.. but then you got Ralph being so damn goofy! I couldn’t take him seriously. Don’t get me wrong, he definitely made a lot of meme able moments, which is awesome.. but it’s kinda like the Star Wars prequels, or Spider-Man 3… not good, but at least something good came out of it. I definitely want a very scary, and creepy Voldemort this time. Someone that would make me fear for even a Death Eaters life when he’s on screen.

I really want Jared Harris to play Dumbledore. (You might know him as professor Legasov from HBO Chernobyl series so they already worked with him). He's actually son of Richard Harris, the late actor who played Dumbledore in first two movies and I feel like it would be honor to the original actor as well as nice easter egg for fans. And he's definitely perfect for the role. Just his Chernobyl role is the proof.

Snape did have a chance with Lily, JKR confirmed. Lily liked him back. However, he also "liked" Mulciber (he was just in high-school, kids usually have more than one crush). Lily had Harry's anger and got mad/ jealous. Now, Snape wasn't actually ugly, just intimidating. Nobody ever said he was ugly, Harry never noticed him being ugly.

I am convinced Jamie is cast as voldemort based in stranger thing, with good makeup I believe he can convincingly play an older character without any problem, looking at his headshot I see the problem, but, He doesnt need to be that age, to look that age, especially when he will be so done up with makeup to look like voldemort, He has the presence for me, I can see ut, plus you can have continuity with, the only time we see voldemort as a human looking person being much younger, which Bower fan look as well, as tom riddle. Don't think its legit, the kids have been the rumoured cast since they first announced the show. I would say they were too old then. Its possible they are further along with the adult cast as thats less time sensitive, the cast is also different from the early articles. I don't think that makes the leaks reliable.
