recognize that Snell's Law relates indices of refraction and the angles of incidence and refraction, but why does the equation use sine to describe those angles and not simply angle values? It would seem that angle values would make the most sense since it directly refers to the size of the angle entering or exiting mediums. What is it about the sine function that makes it essential to the correctness of Snell's Law?

Sir i have a doubt in gauss theorem. Can we find out the electric field at a point P at a distance 'a' from a horizontal (not standing one as given in book)linear rod of length 'L' with the help of gauss theorem? If we solve it with coulomb law (using integration),we get :- "E=KQ/a(L+a)" Here,Q= Charge distributed on rod. a= distance of point from end of rod. L= Length of rod. Sir How torricelli knew that the atmospheric pressure is equal to the the pressure of mercury in the glass tube? If torricelli's vacuum has no medium, no air then the external pressure of atmosphere will break it then why it is not happened? Sir plz reply me . I am so confused all about it

Brother, the relativistically independent or variance property always holds true. Even if mass moves its value can only increase therefore it does not question the existance of charge on the mass

As we know the path of the charged particle is helical in uniform magnetic field so direction of velocity change at every point And according to the formula K.E. is directly proportional to v² and P is directly proportional to v *So why momentum varies but kinetic energy remains constant ???* Please tell sir 🙏🙏🏼🙏

BY WET:- Change in kinetic energy= work done We know in uniform magnetic field force and displacement are perpendicular to each other therefore work done is force.displacement which will be zero as the angle between force and displacement is 90 and cos theta will be zero therefore work done will be zero and change in kinetic energy=0 Talking about momentum we know that momentum is mass into velocity as particle is moving in a uniform circular motion its direction is changing therefore velocity will be changing as velocity is a vector quantity therefore momentum is changing I hope it's clear ❤

Hey i am in class 10th.I have a doubt from Snell's Law first my teacher derived the relation angle i/angle r=v1/v2.And then he said taking sini/Sinr is equal to angle i/angle r.But if angle i=60 and angle r =30 then their ratio is 2 but Sine60/Sin 30 =√3.Clearly they are not equal.So,my first q is Why do we take ratio of sine of angle of incidence to refraction?Why not tan cosec?Is there any deeper relation of this with ratio of velocities?Please clarify my doubt sir.

I have a question on Newton's second law, Sir.. 1 case-in cricket when the bowler Balls in high speed it is easier to hit a six , 2 case-slower one is difficult to hit with the same force which contradicts Newtown law as in 1case there large change in momentum and force is less in second case there is less change in momentum and force more is required. So pls do answer sir

sir i 'm studying in class 10. i and my friend have a doubt that In the case where the angle of incidence is zero(Normal Incidence) , in that case when the light came from denser to rarer, i think it would bend away from the normal because if it will not bend then it will take less time to cover that distance. But we know that time is always Constant when source is same.. but in reality it passes without deviation . So where the problem is as both statements are about same topic ?

Sir I am a 10th class student and I have a doubt, we say that refraction occurs when the light ray travels through two different transparent media, so sir when a light ray travels through a transparent glass of water and the glass has a certain thickness, the light gets refracted 4 times? As in first it will pass through air to glass, then glass to water, then water to glass and then finally glass to air. and sir in this case how is Snell's law true??
