Dear Mawlana Sheikh Imran Houssein, I already got my Zakat w Sadaqah saved apart to deliver to the local Masjid centre here in my city 🕌 💰 💶. The same way I pay Zakat and give the Sadaqah to the local church ⛪ , the exact same way I pay it to the Masjid too. Alhamdulillah! 😇 I don't discriminate anyone or treat people differently, but Yahudi and Muslims do it, but I don't, because I follow Yahushuah (Jesus Christ), so I give charity to everyone, regardless.... I treat everybody the same way. 🙏🏻 😎 So sad that Yahudi and Muslims are not like this... 😞 💔

Sheikh, please explain again regarding iftar time since i am still confused regarding it. Does i need to see whether the sun has fully set, or should i look at the sky turn to dark night? since my place cannot clearly saw the sun has set. Furthermore, sometime when i can view the sun has set, the sky still can be see as blue sky.

If you cannot tell when the sun has set in your place, then seek information from other places close by.

Assalamualaikum Sheikh, since fiat currency is from a monetary system that is haram, should we pay zakat for it? or we should pay zakat based on gold and silver in possession after 1 year?

The safest way to pay Zakaat is in rice and flour and sugar etc. as well as Dinar and Dirham. However there is no escape from bogus money unless the scholars of Islam wake up from the sleep and take collective action on money. I have tried for decades to wake them up, and I have failed.

The functional role of zakat is to eliminate poverty but paying zakat in paper currency is legal by the Islamic scholars as the paper has no intrinsic value and doesn't qualify the Sunnah money so it is not full filling the functional role of zakat. As paper money is Haram is it permissable to pay zakat in Haram medium which increase poverty instead of eliminating. How can we pay zakat then so it can full fill it's role

Well..... That's a good question too, but, unfortunately not everybody is able and capable to pay the Zakat w Sadaqah in silver and gold coins currency 🪙 , so, they got no choice but to pay it in paper currency 💶 and give Sadaqah (charity) in other goods such as food supplies 🍲 🍱 and clothes 👕 👖 🛍️ That's exactly what I myself personally do. I always did this way and will keep doing it this way or I simply don't give anything 🤷🏼‍♀️. Their choice, not mine. I'm not a Muslim, after all.... Pegar ou largar... 🤛🏻 👊🏻 😋

Well..... That's a very good question, but, in the case of doubt do it like me and pay it directly to the Masjid centre in your city/town 🕌 and put it inside the Zakat box 📥 🗄️ or deliver it directly to the local Masjid Sheikh 👳🏻‍♂️ The Shioukh are the main responsible majors for the local Masjid everywhere around the world...... 🌍 🙂
