Appeasing Your Spouse Who Wants a Divorce

I think the psychological term for someone wanting you to leave is called discarding. It is the difficult concept because it is not biblical in any way to discard or to receive that without having peace about God's will in it. It really complicates things when you have children in the house and it's not just a separation. I think the Biblical principle for them wanting to hide is the wicked flee when no man pursueth but the righteous are bold as a lion and I would say that if you are the righteous one in the situation don't flee don't run. Stand up and the truth will speak for itself.

This particular episode is my situation in a nutshell me and my wife are currently seperated and one of the main things she wants from me is to "feel loved " I find myself always reaching out attempting to set up days within the week for us to meet up and just have conversation and to interact but I constantly get pushed back or she says something has come and excuses after excuses but I'm thinking to myself "isn't this what you wanted from me more of a initiative"? I don't know what to think ultimately its going to come down to God working within our hearts to do HIS will but I find trying to appease her is more like a run around

Yea I regret leaving when asked/demanded to. I was just tired of fighting and arguing and felt staying it was going to stay that way. My wife definitely only wanted me out to be free in her affair. Then when it took me a month and half to get my own place she kept saying I had plenty time and I kept telling her no I wasn’t plotting to divorce like you for the past several months. If I can go back I wouldn’t have left or signed the papers just to keep from fighting. God still can restore and He will

I’m listening again to this my husband wanted me to drop off car at food lion then he ubers to the store gets the car then I Uber back home. I told him no just come to the house pick up the car doesn’t make sense for me to stand outside for an Uber an u drive away in a car I been paying on an put gas in. Especially w u passing my house to get to his house . He threatened to call cops charge me for stealing his car been ready 3 days pier he could have come an got it. But it wasn’t his way. He said I’ll Uber to your house when u at work I’m like that’s not gonna work I have a guard dog outside so u need to come today so I can prevent him from running out the gate. His plan is he Uber to the store then back to apartment then to my house u know how much money wasted .He been texting saying I made this awkward that I’m ignoring his messages. I’m so tired of being wrong. I’m always wrong.

The mind of the prodigal is consumed with division and anger. May the Lord grant you grace as you endure the hostilities associated with standing. Fret not over the accusations and charges made by those running from God. Set your mind and heart on the Lord and focus on being right in His eyes based on the truth of His word.

That's it right there, ridiculous behavior that the standing one has to deal with. I thought I was the only one dealing with this childish hurtful behavior, just does not make any sense so certainly this is Spiritual Warfare. I'm so sorry you deal with this and prayers it is better now for you💖. I'm in the thick of it but GOD'S Grace and Mercy I will continue to trust HIM!🙏🏾

@@robina3443im 3 years post divorce he has since remarried and started a family im now tryn to find me someone as well because im tired of being alone what they dont tell u when u stand is that many of us wont get restored in my case i waited but i cant wait for a man to leave his wife even if it adultery because im waiting on either for him to get hurt or for him to hurt her and it stopped makin sense i wang better than this. Im in nursing school hoping to glow up im back in the gym tryn to learn who i am without my ex. Theres an update lol
