cant say enough good things about guerilla tactical! some friends and i are in the process of building a private range here in georgia, intended to be a more friendly space for lgbtq+, poc, leftists, etc. basically a place for marginalized gun enthusiasts, in a part of the world notorious for oppressing these groups. the folks at Guerilla came through with a sizable donation to our gofundme, basically putting us over the edge of what we needed to start building. of course, Guerilla puts out a damn fine product as well, but i just had to take a moment and recognize their generosity and comradery! ps, "gray bae" - im deceased! 🤣💀

Appendix is for everybody. From the itsy bitsy ladies to 6’3” big guys built like semi trucks like me. If you’re a big dude, the advice on appendix is OPPOSITE of skinny people. Loosen your belt (I carry one size up for regular IWB but TWO sizes up for appendix), and adjust up when sitting and down when standing. I’ve carried Glock 19s, 19Xs, PPQs, my new PDP, and an M17 in this fashion, and it makes life much easier. T-Rex Arms Sidecars have been my rig of choice for reference.

Not built like a semi, but more like a cement mixer, so I haven't been as comfy with AIWB as I might be once I trim some adipose. I have a couple Muddy River Tactical holsters for AIWB, depending on the pew-pew, and I'm just more comfortable with a 4:00 IWB with an Alien Gear Cloak Tuck (I think their Shape-Shifter is too complicated) most of the time.

I'm always curious about CCW options for folks (like me) with a stomach. Even in my most fit condition I've had something of a stomach, which makes appendix carry at best super uncomfortable and at worst very obvious as well. I have found some success with carry options around the 5 o'clock region but was curious what you or others have found effective, if there has been any research into these alternatives around different body types. Worst case, personally, I don't mind if our enemies know I'm armed, but I'm sure others need options. Regardless, thank you for your videos and continued work! I've been curious about cc for a while. Why does printing matter, beyond just the other people around you being comfy or not?
@andrewmn30243 жыл бұрын
Some states used to have laws against it, also in addition to people’s comfort around you, you don’t want to become a target. Look up some videos on open vs conceal carry. A printing Concealed weapon has all the disadvantages of both open and concealed carry.
@MikeA8173 жыл бұрын
One consideration is if you're printing and someone notices, you run the risk of drawing undue attention to yourself and causing panic in those around you. You don't want to be considered the mass shooter when you're trying to be the "good guy with a gun." Lately, in my opinion, open carry--apart from concealed carry--has become performative, provocative, and political.
@dajosm3 жыл бұрын
The simple answer is that if you're printing, you're not succeeding at concealing your carry weapon. CC isn't just about making people around you comfortable who may not like guns, it's so you don't make yourself target 1 potentially to assailants who clock you before you clock them. It's about keeping every possible advantage.
