I am 53. My mother used to sing this song to put me to sleep. I was a baby. Really don't remember her actually singing it to me. She's told me so many times. I do know that when I do hear this song I fee a sense of l calm come over me. I think of my Mom as well. She gave me a great music library. I saw J. Geils when I was 9y\o. 1978. In fact I got to watch the whole show setting side stage. I guess cause I was the only kid there. The band was impressed that I knew the words to most of their songs. Thanks Sharon for introducing me to such great music. I love you n Janis!

That's because most people don't know jack about beauty. It's not dolled up in pretty dresses, and make up. I still think that the Queen of England is one classy lady. It's 9:06 PM in central time USA Illinois I read Janis Joplin's autobiography by aurhur Myra Freidmen. Good book about Janis, After reading the book it's like I've known Janis all my life threw the good times and bad times. I love Janis Joplin she her music style and big heart inspired me that she is the best in what a person could be. Or want to be. Along with her bands set up crews thanks for making this happen. I know Janis would feel the same. RIP Janis Joplin.! 😢🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
