Thanks for the great tutorial. how do i get/generate a .app file out of this? how do i generate a .app file that i can save in a directory? that, the .file app i can use and set path of on appium.

He has given the link in his previous lecture. Download the zip file and unzip/extract it. You will get the .ipa file. Hopefully it helps
