The sad thing is men like James really do exist. My adopted sister was married to one she tried to get away but the court in the state she was in told her if she wasn't an irresponsible mother and wife her husband wouldn't have to discipline her. They looked at him trying to throw her out in the rain and cold naked as a him losing his patience. He was an alcoholic. He put ads on Craigslist looking for men to buy his wife. Pretending to be her. He had numerous dating profiles with her pictures but using his email and phone number. He pretended to sext them as her. She got away from by tricking him into moving to another state. Their kids were grown and out of the house. So she pressed charges when he tried to rip her clothes off and throw down a flight of metal stairs in front of a group of teenage boys. Yelling you want her you can have her. She is now divorced and living happily by herself.

The sad thing is this type of behaviour happens nearly every day multiple times a day in multiple countries (I mean the abuse inflicted on the spouse). If you know someone who is in a situation like this, get rhem out of their. Of course you will need to break the hold the spouse has over them (maybe its showing pictures of those killed cause they would not leave, what they were told, that love does not include any sort of violence, that its a viscous cycle of person being aggrivated, they get angry and blame the spouse/partner, partner gets attack and the abuser then says they are sorry and won't do it again). Guess what people? Just cause they were nice in previous years, doesn't mean they are now. I have seen the long-term impact one has after receiving a viscous and extremely violent beating. I have seen how children end up in care, injured or even worse cause the partner beat the living snot out of the child. You need to get out. Take your animals, kids, belongings and get out. Don't mention 1 word to your partner (that increases your risk of being harmed). Find a safe shelter for yourself and a shelter for any pets you may have. You can get out as you don't have to stay with them

He'll be suffering enough to actually regret everything he's done to his wife. Also hope anyone he brought in to help abuse Cordelia(like the guy from the "proof" of an affair) suffer, I imagine James ratted them all out & so OP was able to get help getting compensation for his sister & they were scared enough to turn themselves in cause prison is safer at the second. Also imagine whoever James was sent to paid OP & OP used it as compensation James should have paid. I imagine at some point James is "missing" long enough to be declared dead so Cordelia gets what he left behind. OP helps her deal with everything since going back would be traumatic & they sell what they don't want.

This story is actually super scary. If this was written for Halloween as an adult campfire story it worked. What happened to Cordelia was trauma inducing just to listen to, but what happened to James was just as scary. Not that he didn't deserve it, but just the fact that if you have the right connections, you can make someone disappear. Someone may want to put a warning on this as it could trigger some people. Ok...just read the extended AN and now this story is even more scary. Not a write up but a real life event even with exaggeration.......😓
@JohannaNazareen1225 Жыл бұрын
You can do stuff to someone even if you dont have the conections. You can do so many scary things to them if you are determined enough, crazy enough, angry or drive by revenge enough. There are scary things that people can do to other people and get away with it. Some people like James dont know that there are people who are ready to do horible things to someone if they harmed them. Imagine other woman in Cordelia's place. She would revenge so hard. Think about it. She maried James, he destroyed nd used alt of her life time. She will allways be a divorcee now. She had sex with him. With a monster. She could see it like he never deserved to get any near her. Plus he force her to have sex, she was force to get an abortion. She literaly had to kill her 3 children. He sold her off to someone else too. She lost everything. Other woman would torture him somewhere in hideout where noone can hear him. The law cant come up with such punishment like a person who was tortured can. She was repeaditly r*ped. That is what he kept doing. If there is no consent that is a r*pe. Do you know what people who lost everything can do to their molester?I know. I've seen. It wasn't a peasant sight. The guy was hospitačized but he died from multipleksa injuries and honestly there was no place on him where you could touch him and not cause him horible pain. He was find in an old duggout in the woods. Noone knew about it until the hunters got lost somehow and found him So yes it is horible and could trigger someone. But trust me,when you lost everything you have nothing to loose. And you will do anything. Because you know that if that monster would go to prision you have to work, pay taxes, and through those taxes you feed and support the bastard in prision. Where he has everything. And noone tortured him.
