To be fair, you can sometimes salvage a positive relationship with an ex after a break-up. And sometimes they also become friends with your new SO without any drama or other problems. Does anyone else get mildly bothered whenever these kind of stories end with someone being inslaved to a crappy business for probably the rest of their life?
