Marlene, you have no right to throw away your DIL Ruby's phone and laptop just because you're a female misogynist on an "I want grandkids" kick with a DIL who doesn't want to have kids at all. Your son Andy and your daughter are right to cut ties with you, and now you have nobody nor will you be allowed to see your grandkids should they choose to actually have a family of their own. We women can do just about everything men can do except for making somebody pregnant and choosing the sex of our unborn fetuses.

How are theses stories relatable? Maybe back in the 1970’s, but the MIL would be about 60yrs old now, meaning she would likely have graduated in the 1980’s when women were extremely active in the workforce.

The fact that Marlene is having her ass chewed out over tossing away some important work materials and has the nerve to say ‘don’t you feel less stressed now?’ says everything you need to know about her character
@freespirit3891 Жыл бұрын
They didn't bother to get her stuff back. Cut ties for good. New phone, new number. The Forbes article will show exactly how far in the past she is living. She's lucky to have enough to live off of. Now days most partners have to work because of the cost of living. By pulling her crap, she lost 2 children and possible grandchildren in the future. She learned too late.

So MIL is stuck in the 1800s. Wife should always be cleaning the house and preferably on the honeymoon get pregnant and stay barefoot and pregnant. The house must spotlessly clean. Hot fresh food must be ready when husband comes home. Wife must NEVER work. Work is Men's work. Women shouldn't bother their pretty little heads with such things. They should also start the husband's bath before he's finished eating. His clothes should be pressed and laid out for him. Obviously, since her daughter left hearing that her mother was expecting her son's wife to give up the gym and her growing business get pregnant and become an 18-1900s housewife she lost respect for her. Something tells me that daughter isn't that type of housewife if she's a housewife. I'd be surprised if this doesn't become their last anniversary as the husband may actually want a relationship with his children over his wife's outdated beliefs.

MIL needs to learn her place... their life is absolutely NONE of her business.. she is way too invested in her son's marriage..if DIL stopped working she'd be complaining about her wasting her son's money🙄🙄. stay at home wife isn't for everyone.. there's women out here that actually prefer to make their own money and not depend on anyone for financial support.. those women will go further than a woman that's NEVER held a job a day in her life.. stay at home wife won't get you anywhere on a job search.. that's not considered work place experience to most companies.. if something was to happen to the sole provider of MIL, what would his mother do?.. fun fact: it's absolutely OK if your in laws don't like you.. them liking you would be nice and appreciated....but it's not really necessary 🤭.. you don't have to kiss any in laws arse to get them to accept you..
