Even worse is how they just repeat themselves a lot in those "epilogues". Cleave out the repeated lines, and you can cut it down to about half that length, if not shorter. Completely wasteful how they keep making super long "epilogues"...

Child support only lasts until the child is 18 or out of high school - at least in the US.

In this story I feel bad for the kids/young adults. At least the op or first wife left this jerk and her son had her to rely on as a stable, responsible and good parent. The poor daughter didn't have either parent as a viable option. Her mother abandoned her and her dad is a joke.

I had to look the age. In the US, it is 18, but in Mississippi, it's the only place where 21 is considered the age of adulthood

From Mississippi and it's weird ..... They make fathers pay until 21 but will cut a kid off Medicaid at 18! The state continues to get a cut of the child support tho 😒
