The adaptive payment methods that companies have obtained are such an important emerging technology, being that online shopping is the preferred method of shopping these days. As you mentioned, covid-19 only increased the amount of online shoppers, which launched companies into acquiring different payment styles. It is super interesting to see companies such as Apple with Apple Pay who are leaning into collaboration with companies such as Clarna to deliver payment options such as buy now pay later, or even the option of installments. The change is a smart move in my opinion, because the convenience that it offers to consumers only drives their willingness to shop. I definitely think that we will see this more and more in the near future, and I would not be surprised if this option was offered in-store soon.
