"I really do want to be the perfect wife for you" why? He's not the perfect husband. He's not even trying to be

The minute he locked me out of my home I’d have let him have it. There would be no going back. Housework is everyone’s responsibility, no matter who has a ‘real’ job and who doesn’t. Any partner, male or female that doesn’t pull their own weight with cleaning and childcare needs a swift kick and reality check.

If you live in a house or apartment, you need to take your share of the household tasks 😮

For the last time women DO NOT exist to be a freaking slave, our purpose in life is NOT to shut up and obey we are human beings with a heart and a soul and feelings. Tom you are right June DID value you but you are the one that NEVER valued her not as a person or as a wife.

His condescending tone alone would infuriate me. I mean, she works only five hours less and does all the housework? Technically, she works more than his lazy butt.

And then he locked her out of the house for not having his ideal meal ready!

Her work is more physically strenuous, even if its an hour a day less. He says he works 8 hours straight? No lunch or breaks? No meeting where he sits and listens?

Shocking to see these women tolerating so much abuse, virtually endangering their lives ! Are they blind enough not seeing those monsters a bit early ?

I know it doesn't quite work like this, but he essentially said that if it was her, he'd have been ok with her dying... He's upset that it was his mom, not that he did something that dangerous in the first place. He's fine with his wife dying if it means he stood his ground.... Wow, just wow. I know people like this. Not quite THIS bad, but listening to them talk is nostalgic for ALL the wrong reasons. Racism and misogyny are only a few of those old-timey gems they love to polish.

that is the role of the wife......Not......tradition roles where often done by a stay at home wife...

Why do the antagonists always end up quitting their good jobs, moving into run down tiny apartments, and working multiple part time jobs to make ends meet? Is that the ultimate punishment for being a miserable person or something?
@ReeyaVickery9 ай бұрын
Don't forget about the one's that end up in the countryside. That seems to be a big punishment as well! 😂

That always amazes me. I’ve never heard of anyone like the idiots in these stories doing anything like that. Especially working multiple part time jobs. More like they live like bums till they find someone else to leech off and just move on to the next poor person

One of the first discussions with a serious partner is I am a worker not a house wife. That means house work must be split fairly. If that is not acceptable, bye. Heck, the first discussion over how 1 hour a day for the job made him superior 2ould have me bringing in divorce papers. It wouldn't take multiple times locking me out putting my life at risk. She tolerated the abuse far too long.
