GREAT video, Sarah. I have used apple cider vinegar for years, and as you say, it really is a wonderful cure all, especially for acid reflux. Thank you for teaching us how to make it😊.

Thank you!!! I love love cider vinegar! However it does take a while to turn to a good vinegar! ... We consume it faster than we probably should... You can just feel it's good for you though

@ four years ago I made a batch of honey vinegar. Omgoodness it’s so good. I haven’t used it all yet but hoping to make another batch next year if I get extra honey.

@ I’m looking forward to more of these videos from you and sweet Lily. You and your daughter work so well together. She’s precious. I know the rest of the family works hard but I really enjoy watching you both creating and doing the garden. You all inspire so many people. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge

Great job... FYI if you are harvesting apples and making pies or sauce or juice you can make vinegar from just peels and cores.

Warm outside? I got the heat on in my house down here in Florida! Is this vinegar the same you buy in the store? I make my own distilled water for my plants. You drink it to loose weight? Never knew that about birch. Great to know this. Thanks Sarah.
@Alaskan6pack9 күн бұрын
Heat on in Florida? Now that's something you don't hear much! Lol. Yes it's the same you buy at the store...but tastes much better! Crazy weather right? We are hovering around 40 degrees here...last time this year we were around-10 here.... It's crazy!! Yes, the cider for sure curbs my appetite

Do I need the birch bark funnel? Couldn’t I just pour the liquid back in the jar? Thanks- great demo!
@Alaskan6pack10 күн бұрын
You don't need it. I usually have a plastic funnel I use. I just didn't want to spill anything on camera! Lol Was using what I had. I hope you make some soon, it's so great...tastes much better than the store bought...less " sour"

Do you put in frig after last 2 months? Thank you for sharing.
@Alaskan6pack10 күн бұрын
Good question. We don't because our outdoor fridge gets too cold. We just leave it inside. You are probably supposed to, but we have had no issues so far just leaving it inside!

Great video!! Everything is better homemade, less to no chemicals! I like the way y’all made the table! Never liked how sour apple cider vinegar was, is the homemade version less sour?
