The dish is jst awesome for the sour lovers. I made it , the taste was amazing. Instead of vanilla essence , food color,cinnamon powder I added lemon juice or vinegar, beetroot as natural color,elaichi powder. It was magnificent 👌

Appealing n aapetising....apart frm the food colour,the colour of the halwa is beautiful due to the apple skin...also irs skin has pectin which is good for our collagen tissue..better to wash the apples in warm water to which vinegar or potassium permanganate has been added.Thanks.Neat job😊🍒

Hi Hebbers! As usual an amazing recipy. I would just suggest not to use food color instead of that use saffron or just skip. Secondly use Shimla apples which has a specific taste and fragrance and avoid adding vanilla essence which will subside the taste of apple. I made it today for prasad and it turned very tasty.
