Yes, that is true. But, that doesn't excuse the massive betrayal. If someone cheated on me, I would never forgive either party, especially if the person who took my partner was a sibling or was supposed to be my friend. It is still an unforgivable betrayal even though my former partner wasn't worth holding on to. I might get over the dude, but I would never forgive him or the friend or sister he cheated with.

I feel bad for the people who write these scripts. It seems so common to use working at a factory, being forced to live in a company dorm with an ankle bracelet, parents made responsible for adult children's debt, etc. as a storyline. People commonly write what they know, so it seems like these far fetched plots come from a mindset that's steeped in a very different culture. I feel for anyone living under that kind of iron fist.

The dialogue of the "friend" is cringy awful. So is the plot - how could she not know the guy's real identity after six months? And the over-the-top, shrill delivery just makes things worse. A good voice actor can mitigate embarrassingly bad story, but a bad voice actor can wreck even good dialogue.
