Not sure how I feel about her mom in this. Cancer aside the way she reacted to the divorce irritated me.

This was a good one. I think the mom's reaction to everything was spot on. I would prefer the in-laws to let me know how they feel about me from jumpstreet instead of being phoney. Even the I told you so from the mom is dead on. If you don't think so shame on you, because as far as I know everyone likes to be proven right

Late diagnosis of pancreatic cancer is very common. There usually aren’t any symptoms until it’s already advanced.

I would not expect my spouse who works days to wake up at 3:30 AM to come get me from my job.... especially if it’s not the norm. I would take a cab home.

I came out of this story hating all of the characters. AND WHAT FREAKING HOSPITAL IS IN A RENTED BUILDING!!!! Obviously the writer has no clue about how hospitals work. Also, Mark can sue for wrongful termination.

I didn't like any of them either. No single person can own a hospital. Hospitals are bought and owned not rented.

Chemo is rough on the patient. 2 parents and a sibling went through chemo. All 3 were very sick from it. Many divorced Dr's work together on same hospital

If he chased skirts before he dated you, he’ll more than likely chase skirts after he thinks he’s got you installed. It's "not a problem" yet because the cement hasn’t dried and you can still go somewhere. His spots won’t start showing till installment’s complete. 2:00

If the writer wanted a character to have cancer that’s curable they should have picked a less insidious cancer with a better cure rate. The time frame between stage 1 & 4 of pancreatic cancer can be as little as 1 year, and about the only thing chemo can do for stage 3 & 4 is slow the progression, there is currently no cure. The only thing that will help is early detection. That being said, I just wish there was some research before the stories are done.

Well the insidious cancer is why the male character thinks that mom is going to die.

I worked as a hospital cleaner in theatre and in my experience a lot of male surgeons are are amongst some of the cleanest in surgery and the dirtiest everywhere else in the hospital. They just leave a trail of destruction behind them. 😂

I'm kind of confused about this one. At the beginning of the story the mother said that her daughter is the CEO of the hospital. If that's so, is it common for the CEO of a hospital to be in surgery? And, what kind of promotion is she looking for? She's the CEO

10,000 a month after taxes ? Hell , RNs in the United States earn as much . CNPs make double that . And the OP is a director of a hospital ? Where in some Third World Country ? A Hospital Director makes about 400,000 a year.

I’m not liking the ex wife much in this one. She couldn’t be an adult and work with her ex? Instead had to force him out? Very bitter and mixing personal and business life.

Usually I like the cheating spouse getting their dues, but it sounded like Wrongful termination because of personal involvement & not because of the husband's performance... Like others, I didn't understand the hospital being moved to a rented property...
@andreahenggeler2333
@andreahenggeler2333 5 ай бұрын
Okay, she became a petty B. She herself admitted that he was a great doctor but she didn't feel comfortable working around her ex-husband. That's no reason to let him go and yes he could have sued her for a wrongful termination. Also, somebody correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't his new wife sue the hospital that treated her mom after her mom said she didn't want to be treated? Doctors know they can't treat patients without their consent. He, being a doctor himself, would know all of this

I think Mark’s firing was simply out of spite. There was no reason for him to lose his position just because his ex-wife didn’t want him around. His flip-flopping on his pregnant new wife was reprehensible. Obviously she admitted he was a good doctor, though. I really didn’t feel much sympathy for any of the characters in this one.
@dmoore3272

None the characters in this story inspire sympathy. Why would she expect someone who works days come get her at 3:30am? And what hospital SCHEDULES surgery at 4am? (Not talking about emergencies here)
@riley6740
@riley6740 5 ай бұрын
It depends on the procedure and the circumstances of a surgery is scheduled for a time that is not normally used. Complicated procedures can take up to 18 to 20 hours, consisting of multiple teams of specialists before being completed.
